Indy 500 / Memorial Day Weekend

Just an outstanding weekend in Indianapolis! The picture perfect weather, the 100th running of The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, and the official start of the boating season! I blew off work Fri afternoon and went to the water. Spent a good part of saturday on the water. Hung out at home and recuperated from Saturday on Sunday, then back out for another day of sun and fun on Monday. Unfortunately, the water was too cold for this old fart to get in deeper than my knees...

Cool fact I heard... with the sell-out of ALL tickets for the race, on Sunday, 1 out every 900 people in the USA was inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. If you've never been... you're doing it wrong. That place is so cool. Even better now, with all the upgrades inside - and out.
