What about with cotton gloves?
YES.....clean cotton gloves work perfect and your coins and bars will stay like new
My coins still look perfect and my 100oz bar still looks like this
(damn the coins went up another $6 a roll)

768.98................
well see in a year about the price difference..........
And definetley buying a safe.
I plan on buying more and with all the other shit I`ve been collecting as in the silver strikes from the Vegas casinos and a Sammy Sosa silver/gold inlayed coin.
With a Michael Jordan and an Anfrnee hardaway silver/gold inlayed coins.
plus the old coins and bills and gun from my Dads estate.
It would be totally needed.
I never lock our doors and anyone could walk right down in 34`s from the back door and no one will ever see them.........
Best hope not anyways........

He is talking about that goofy site he buys from and they have insane prices for coins which I NEVER would buy.
Right now a roll of 20 1oz Silver Eagle coins is $407.06 in PERFECT condition.
And NEVER pay attention to a TV commercial.
I know wtf I am talking about.
http://www.jmbullion.com/2015-american-silver-eagle/ <----that is 20oz's from those 20 PERFECT coins.
*BU* has NOTHING to do with having experts look at them (you must have skipped my posts before this)
I don't collect shit because it has a goofy picture on it.....I go by the BEST investment.
as I am typing this the price is dropping tonight.
NOW the 10oz bar is $180.02
The 20 Silver Eagle coins are now $404.56 YOW
BTW remember when you buy any of this DO NOT handle it......maybe use clean cloth gloves......I just used paper towels myself but you can't touch silver with you hands since it fucks it up and then it is worth LESS if you ever try to sell it......especially coins.
But a crappy looking bar will not be worth as much as my PERFECT 100oz silver bar or my 60 Silver Eagle coins
10oz bar dropped again to $179.40
20 Silver Eagles dropped to $403.94
I may be buying some coins tonight
So far tonight Silver Ask 16.20 -0.45 Open: 16.65 High: 16.79 Low: 16.15
Silvertowne has 10 oz bars for 177.70 and free as always shipping..and my coins from there come in plastic cases, whether or not they are touched by humans doesnt matter to me one bit. Its one ounce of silver, period.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
And I'll say it again, do not get caught up in the BU, MS rating system of a coin BS...you are buying it for the silver ontent only. The shows on TV are laughable, no one in their right mind pays their prices,
The only positive that will come out of the rating system is your 65 an ounce coin will be worth its weight in silver and that is it. Those systems are a joke, they destroyed the baseball card industry from 1988 to the present.I never got caught up in that system either, I pulled a 1998 randy moss card, it valued at 20.00 I didn't care that the guy down the street sent his randy moss away and it graded a PS10 so he wanted 200.00 for his.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Agree. This is about the weight and price of the .999 pure silver content... not the shape, size, or imprint.
I almost picked up some of those skull & crossbones "bars," just because of the appearance and scuba connection with the skull & crossbones. Then I came to my senses.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Thanks for all the info guys and actually I plan on getting an oz. or two of some gold before the year is over........
I even had a phone call from US Gold Bureay last night giving me their two cents worth.
They called cause when looking thru their site I filled out a form for a ouple of free books and wanted to know know my phone number......
Actually they were well informative, answered whatever I wanted to know, but were most interested in the coins over bullion.......I made it clear I just wanted bullion rather than spend money on damn graded coins......He wasn`t pushy or anything. But I think he was wanting to see if I was gonna be spending thousands or,a long term investor or a short term.....
He did send me this video in an email:
http://proofgold.us.
And of course I can`t get it to work.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Ok one more time (Cravn).........
Coins that are *BU* are NOT rated by ANYONE and do NOT cost more.
Once again......*BU* means "Brilliant Uncirculated" that are never touched and come from the MINT.
It has NOTHING to do with coin ratings by those clowns that give ratings aka MS69
THOSE are coins rated and then each in those stupid plastic wrappers
They explain that and show that at JM Bullion and DO NOT have single coins wrapped up separate and charging BS like $43 each
Here is the crap Silvertowne has on the site http://www.silvertowne.com/c-336-silver-american-eagles.aspx and THEY have those SCAM coin ratings
Now you look here at JM Bullion......notice the difference????
http://www.jmbullion.com/silver/silver-coins/american-silver-eagles/uncirculated-ase/
These are UNCIRCULATED COINS.......NOT those scam coins that SilverTowne shows you pages of plus tax
Look at the single Silver Eagles at Silvertowns first page As Low As: $74.41 <------
Over and Over I said that those coins I get at JM Bullion are NOT rated by some company like NGC and PCGS which Silvertowne tries to get people to buy.
BUT when you look at the coins I showed over and over at JM Bullion you see 2015 one ounce Silver Eagles are $20.79 for single coins or if you are any good at investing you buy a roll of 20 coins for $20.37 each.
Now do you see the difference between $20.37 each at JM and $74.41 at Silvertowne?
Bars will only be worth the price of silver AND coins price will always go up since collecting silver coins is not like having a chunk of silver.
COINS will always go up ABOVE the price of silver bullion.
Hell even on Silvertownes UNRATED coin page they have CROOK prices. http://www.silvertowne.com/c-284-non-certified-silver-american-eagles.aspx with that BS
THESE are the best with the discount if you buy 20+ or just buy singles http://www.jmbullion.com/silver/silver-coins/american-silver-eagles/uncirculated-ase/ NO shipping and NO tax added.
I have BOTH the 100oz BAR and my 60oz's of Silver Eagle coins and it is obvious which will be worth more in the future.
And I am talking about GOVERNMENT minted coins NOT some goofy coins made by somebody that put Santa or a goat on the coins.
Just scroll down the page and notice how the older Silver Eagles cost more than the 2015.......you won't see that happen with a silver bar.
and the Silvertowns site sucks unless you like looking at thousands of pictures of coins and bars and then when you check out you have to give them ALL your info like credit card and address and name just to get the final price and JM does NOT do that and the JM site is not a mess of pictures of painted coins with Santa on them

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Btw I have both sites loaded right now and am watching the prices to compare as the silver price rises and drops for 10oz silver bars and the Silver Eagle coins uncirculated.
(at credit card price not that check-and wire price)
Right now the price is staying steady and only up or down a dime for a 10oz bar so it will have to drop by the end of the day before I place an order.
I am hoping for it to drop enough so I can also get a roll of the British 1oz coins and a roll of US Silver Eagles......I know the queen will not live forever (but then her mom lived over 100 years)
lmao.....right now on tv is that Lear Capitol silver commercial......only a fool calls them up for that GREAT price aka Scam that other commercial should be on next
Btw in case you didn't know investing in metals does not stop "When the Bell rings" at Wall Street at 4pm ET and the only time the price doesn't change is on the weekend.
Things are running slow today and the price is not doing much so I am just going to watch and see if it gets better later and I see gold is about the same (stuck at $4.80 down)........I also like to watch on friday night to see if it will drop closer to -75 cents per oz.
I do have 8,600 $100 bills if you want to buy those for a $1 over on each one

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
I just emailed silvertowne (I am not a phone person)
I set up a test order for a 1oz gold Eagle from there and here is what pops up
of course I don't use the check-wire version but here that can't be used unless your order is over $1000
waiting for the reply but I will stick to using JM since the site works instantly and only shows coins and bars that you want and not all the rest of that MS70 bs and different pictures on them.........not that I want to buy gold
I'll stick to silver but the damn price has been stuck all day at $16.36 area........boooooooo.......I want $15.75
Gold does look cool and isn't the same as silver when it comes to handling them but it would have to drop to the 1970 price
.....gawd the wife is home.......better pretend I am not buying stuff

Again I don't care about a coin being BU, 20.36 for a 2015 eagle at silvertowne is a steal, you can't even touch that at JM, for one thing you have to spend over 100 to even get free shipping at JM, and so what on linking my checking account to their site, its a safe site, I do check the BBB on places I link my account to. Hell silvertowne has a better rating then my mortgage company.
Again I've been collecting silver since 1970, I got my first 3 oz bar in 1969 for free from a bank in washington DC, you know how many times that bar has been touched since 1969? So anything BU means nothing, when my kids elect to melt it, its ,3 oz of silver..

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
I want silver to rise, I'm pretty sure I off set my purchases from 2011-2012 when I was paying39 to 45 an ounce, I've purchased quite a few coins/bars over the past year in the 20 dollar range, I'm ready to rock and roll with the 50 an ounce range.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
I`ve beem looking thru Silvertowne just to see what all the hoopla was about with you two,and I did notice some items they ship free.
I was gonna mention that..........
And too tell you the truth Gold bureau looks to be a decent place to buy some goodies too.
and crav, when I checked Ebay for silver,i was checking it out to see if people are actually buying. And there are tons of buyers out there for silver. each one tells you how many they have sold too.
so I would defenitley think it would be a place to unload if a person need3d too.(yeah I know,I don`t have to tell you guys this).lol
And it seems to me that SilverTowne mint is the biggest contributor to selling silver on that site.
You can sift thru all the sellers and I definetley don`t see JMB,but silver is silver no matter how you look at it.
But I`m gonna be looking forward to this thread and prices for now on..........I think you guys may have created a monster.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
My little pile of shiny stuff has now grown to 30 oz with my 10 oz bar purchase today... 20 - 1 oz and 1 - 10 oz bars. (Note to self: 1 - 10 oz bar costs less than 10 - 1 oz bars... )
And since I'm in Indiana, Silvertowne is over... no more sales tax for me!

That does suck with the sales tax. Getting wound up for my Saturday night purchase, I think I'm going for the one ounce chip.
