Again I don't care about a coin being BU, 20.36 for a 2015 eagle at silvertowne is a steal, you can't even touch that at JM, for one thing you have to spend over 100 to even get free shipping at JM, and so what on linking my checking account to their site, its a safe site, I do check the BBB on places I link my account to. Hell silvertowne has a better rating then my mortgage company.

Again I've been collecting silver since 1970, I got my first 3 oz bar in 1969 for free from a bank in washington DC, you know how many times that bar has been touched since 1969? So anything BU means nothing, when my kids elect to melt it, its ,3 oz of silver..

I don't know how you can come up with that since JM is a much easier site to look at the only things worth buying and that is bars and BU coins than silvertowne is and there is no doubt about it.

Btw the same coin you just mentioned for 20.36 was 20.33 for the 2015 BU @ JM today when I checked. so I guess silvertowne was not a steal.

I have ordered from both and I pick the one that has the best website and prices that are never beat by anyone including silvertowne.

And hell I know how old you are so claiming investing skills since 1970 just means your Dad did it (I was 12 so you where a pip squeak lol  )

But I am not a rookie with investing or just using a computer to do that.

Hell I still have the coins I was collecting in the 1960's that are still in the same container I put them in back in 1970
And I never had a Union job or a free trip to M.I.T. but still for some reason became a millionaire and have been doing programming and data processing for Cern since 2004 and the Max Planck Institute of Gravitational Physics since 2005 which is beyond "rocket science" so I really don't think I need links and only pointed out that the JM site is more user friendly for new investors or people who don't want to look at the hundreds of rated gold and silver coins and painted coins and all the rest of those coins and bars.

JM even sells those silvertowne bars and a quick look at the bottom of the page http://www.jmbullion.com/ shows that JM is rated just as high with everything from the BBB to NGC or even that silly facebook.

Nobody that has silver is going to "melt it down" when they want to sell it......they just look for a buyer and hope to get the best deal.

And I gurantee a shiny 100oz bar of silver will get me more money than a dirty gray 100oz bar and when it comes to coins yeah that ugly gray one will be just as good as a bar and the BU coin which I buy for the same price as you buy them for will be worth money OVER the price of silver.

I showed the evidence of that and you still don't believe me but that won't change the way coin collectors collect and invest and comparing BU silver coins to sports cards is silly.

It is no different than selling comic books........if they are 80 years old and in perfect condition you get lots of cash and if it is 40 years old and worn out you get a few dollars.

Old US dollar coins in BU condition are worth hundreds of dollars more than bars and those old coins are not even .999 silver and the same with the other old silver coins.

The SAME happens with the BU Silver Eagles and the ones from Canada and GB because they are MINTED by the Government and are not just bars or rounds or any other non-Government coins.

The same thing even happens with the paper US Treasury Notes and why I have lots of silver bars and coins AND $87,000 worth of Ben Franklins...........the price of gold and the value of the dollar go hand in hand.

If I wasn't good at what I do I would live in a rented trailer in a trailer park because I never got a lucky break in my life (well except when I played basketball laughing  )

Of course you can do what you want and since you "don't care" about the condition or coins and bars that is fine for YOU but it isn't good advice to friends who would like to invest.

Hell I am not trying to argue with you but one thing I have always done no matter what the subject........if I don't know .....I don't waste the time to act like I do since I rather figure it out before I say anything at all.

Btw I did talk to silvertowne and they said the tax applies to people who live in Indy or Tennessee and could not explain why that shipping box was popping up as I was placing an order.......no big deal since JM I can set up an order and then watch for the best price of the day or month and hit the order key and that is what I will pay and I know it will be at the post office 3 days later in perfect condition just as they came from the US Mint or the Sunshine Silver Mine in Idaho which always has a better price than the same size bar that have silvertowne printed on them.

I also guarantee  the Sunshine Silver and Gold Mines have a better product than the silvertowne bars.

I cannot go to JM and buy 2 coins for less money then I would at silvertowne. JM will charge me shipping so right there shoots your theory.

Might even check out the east coasts largest flea market there are some old farts selling silver in there, might see if I can swindle a coin or two out of them,

I'm going to find my 3 ounce bar on the web, I looked it up years ago and it was going for more then what silver was valued at. I still have the origional box and paper work with it, we opened Christmas clubs back then, and if you opened an account and and deposited 2.00 a week you got a 3oz bar of silver, dad got 3 bars,my aunt, sister and I.

I'm sure my sister pawned hers, she's like that, she probably traded it for a 12 pack.

And yes I was an investing at a young age, I also got drew and my daughter michelle into investing, they both are into silver and coins, my daughter likes the stocks. I only had one pot of gold with my stocks and that was ups stocks when they went public..had many failures, over my years..

I had to have a union job to keep up with my hobbies, horses, silver, autographs, baseball and football cards Smile Jimminy I could of been a millionaire without those hobbies

Do I have to ask them to call you now? laughing

Read this and tell me what it says.

http://www.jmbullion.com/about/shipping/

FREE Shipping and Insurance
Please note that shipping and insurance, on all JMB orders, is absolutely free. Customers have the option of free base shipping methods, or upgrading their shipping carrier, upon checkout.

So we can all buy with no tax or shipping fee but they only charge YOU shipping out of all their customers?

And just for the hell of it I just now ordered 20 BU US Silver Eagles with free shipping for 20.37 each

AND 20 BU 2015 British one ounce coins for only $4 more total.

That is called investing at the best price cowboy

But then I would rather have driven my UPS truck to visit Johnny Unitas than Jim Zorn or Slick Watts laughing

https://www.facebook.com/JMBullion <--- professional

https://www.facebook.com/SilverTowne <--- silly

...ok...ok....I just can't wait for my new order and too bad this is wednesday because the USPS will probably make me wait until monday

but I think I will sneak in to the bank to pay this off so the wife doesn't know and I never have had to pay a penny as far as credit card interest since I got this Visa card needhelp

And since I'm in Indiana, Silvertowne is over... no more sales tax for me! hammerhead

Kurt......Where did you get yours from?

a 10 oz bar costs less than 10 one oz bar........interesting,very interesting.

JM Bullion on the 10oz. The first two (10-1oz) orders were Silvertowne. Thought I'd keep it local. But 7% (IN Sales tax) trumps local in this case.

Then JM just changed their ways, I told you right before christmas that I was making a purchase thru them then I got as far as check out and my order wasn't 100 they were charging shipping, so I nixed the purchase. So now Saturday I'll have to go back to shopping, but I'm still vetting that silver chip thru silvertowne, under 20 for an ounce is a bargain in any book.

Dropped to $15.83 for a few minutes and is $15.99 right now.

So a roll of Eagles is just under $400..........still not as good as $390 I got in december but pretty close.
It might stay this way for the weekend too

That is the Check & Wire Price: NOT the credit card price. (btw that way it is $385 even at JM using the check version)

I don't want to wait for them to get a check in the mail and then send the order.

I prefer getting the order 3 days later and as you can see that is the same price I mentioned.

Never owned a check book in my life or put my savings in a bank.  Rolling Eyes

Edit: Ok made another trip to the p.o. and brought home my 2015 British Silver Queen 1oz coins

So shiny I can't take a decent picture but I checked all of them with my glasses on and they look pretty nice for British coins  lol

Now I have to put em back in the container and check my roll or 2015 US Silver Eagles  hellyes

One from USPS and the opther UPS.
I thought they were gonna be here today............

Yeah when I order I check that delivery link JM emails me (and if you log in and check your account there you can do the same thing)

Sometimes when you check it seems like it is still just leaving the place they ship from but since yours is that close you will probably get it tomorrow at the place you told them to deliver it.

I just have them deliver to the post office since I don't have a mail box and they use the signature method there.

Price is looking nice right now.......getting closer to another 100oz bar for me lol

But yeah your first order with a credit card can make it take a little longer the first time because your bank and the cards use the security these days to make sure YOU made that order and not some crook but after that the orders come REAL FAST.

Here is an example with my last order and notice it was 4 days total INCLUDING the weekend when the USPS is taking the days off.

- Available for Pickup, March 9, 2015, 9:20 am, CHIMACUM, WA 98325

Hey guys when you order ground shipping it goes by the way of railroad so that's why you see some funky destinations when you track your shipments. Then it goes to one big rail yard then it is trucked to the final destinations.

Takes my silver 5 working days to get here. I usually order Saturday evening and I get it Friday.

Placed my first order from JM 3/4/15... nothing yet.

Yesterday I had a chat with my jeweler buddy that is in the silver game BIG TIME. He said Silvertowne is faster because they're a "minter." Many others get their bars elsewhere, so they take a bit longer. To him (like me) its all about the weight and price per oz...

Did you track your order???

They tell you right where it is like I showed (and we don't have a train where I live so they come by truck)

And as I mentioned if it is your first order your bank/credit card can slow it down but after that you will get them fast like I have since they use 2nd day shipping USPS

I`m not sure how to get pics off my phone onto this site so I sent them   to Magic.

I have not received my second shipment from Silvertowne yet,but I will post those as well.

I didn`t purchase a whole lot from them, but I had to check out both places being I heard good from both........

And ps............Was that the Magic Kingdom I just seen............ Two eyes and teeth

(you have a better camera than I do Barry)

*yep same package I get mine in from JM*
