Damn you guys live large..............
Nice places............I live in a dog house compared to those.
And those pics came from my smart phone.
The wife never uses her digital camera anymore............And when the Silvetone package gets(which should be tomorrow),I`ll send you another pic.
Thanks for posting them for me.
ps.........crav I dig your new ride parked in the front of your house.

No problem Barry
Yeah I am a pc geek which fits in with living here on the Olympic Peninsula and it has been over 3 decades since I had a neighbor close enough where I could see their house..........I would like to have Cravns winter weather but not the neighbors and all those houses would fit in my back yard
Since I know where he lives in Florida I had to take that picture of his place with the USPS truck at his mail box
But I have a feeling you don't live in a "dog house"
Yeah I have noticed that most cell phones take real nice pictures (I don't own one but the wife has one)
I just have this RCA digi camera about the size of a cell phone but the damn thing has terrible zoom and some pictures look good and others are like I was shooting pics through a dirty window on a foggy day.......only part I like is I just plug it into my laptop and copy the pictures that way and I have thousand of pic over the years and I try to burn them onto a disc before I have a pc problem that loses all of them
I never use a phone so I won't pay for a cell phone and the contract and prefer emails and our bs'ing here and the websites I have for the science projects.......and I sure as hell won't be getting in line for that new apple watch I saw on a commercial
Just send me your next pics and I will post em for you when I see them.

Well that's good news caus I just got me a brand new cell phone, and I'm pretty sure when I take a pic theres an option for email, so milliondollarbill better be checking his hot mail regurally
This house is to much for me, its what the Mrs wanted,my idea was to move here and go condo style living so I wouldn't have a lawn to tend to anymore. But she did let me have the family room as a mancave so I can't complain too loudly about the hours it takes me to cut the lawn. And after cutting the lawn doing the Nestea plunge into the pool is nice.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
This is my house that I sold back in 2004 when I down-sized. Don't miss the mulching and lawn mowing at all but I'd give anything to still be living there with Nancy.
This is my condo where I live now. No mowing, shoveling, mulching. Want to leave? Lock the door and pull out! And I'll be doing just that a week from today when I head to Anna Maria Island!!

How'd you get that screen shot from Google? I tried... The street view wouldn't play ball with me.

There's a menu button at the top (second one in on the right) that allows you to save the shot to a file. I then used Paint Shop Pro to edit the file, cropping it out to select just my place, then reduced the size.
Just did that to view the latest Google shot of my former home:

Oh. Sure. Right.
(what the F did he just say? )
I guess there will be no shots of the Walther Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter home...

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Silver price is at its best right now........but then I have enough.......unless they keep dropping.
Nice places Norm.......both of them........and the second one sure looks a lot easier to deal with.
A house like your 1st one would cost over a million on the west side.
My magnolias are blooming so as usual the wind is blowing and the sun and rain at the same time blowing magnolia flowers all over the place
here at my place Paint Shop Pro is the local hardware store

Nice. The 10oz bar showed up today. Think I'll get 10 more of the 1oz'ers, so each of the grand kids get 5 each... the price is certainly right.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
heres the order from SilverTowne:
Damn Crav.......I really like the way they packaged the 5oz coin.A plastic case and a velvet bag to go with it.
And yeah, the pics of your homes, you all live large compared to me.
I don`t live in a doghouse,But its a nice house, but not anything compared to those.
And my house and yard could fit in Magics front yard.........
When I get my Vette out for the summer,I will park it in front of the doghouse so you guys can see it........
ps.........thanks for posting the pic in advance.lol

That's what I`m talking about Kurt.................
I don`t have grandkids yet,and the way my son is going, gonna be 28 in May,it may not happen for some time.
mason,my son, does not know that I`m gonna start investing this way........He will be surprised the day he opens that safe.
There will be plenty of gold and silver for him.I don`t plan on going anywhere soon,so there should be a mothelode.
I already got the wife taken care of,so now its his turn.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Well I paved my 350ft long driveway a couple summers ago just so guys can drive their Corvette out in the country (and I have a friend with a Vette and a Harley)
No actual grandkids here (I have the ones from the wifes side which is sort of like when I was a kid)
Not sure who will get all my stuff since most of my close relatives are long gone and my Son doesn't deserve to just get it all handed to him since he is 32 and still doing nothing but party and go to casinos.........so my plan is I have to live at least 100 years and maybe then..........
I have my daffy's starting to flower (hundreds of them) and tulips and my favorites are my big Magnolia and the Star Magnolia out by the pond that I planted back in the 90's and I have a Purple Magnolia that flowers in April........the Star is a 8ft bush and the big old Magnolia is about 30ft tall........same thing every year here........it flowers like crazy and smells nice and it willl be sunny and then today WIND knocking the flowers all over the yard and into the pond (looks nice since I have other white flowering trees around the pond that drop in the water)........mallards are all back for the free food.........trout doing the same thing........and after having the big hummingbirds all winter this week the Rufous H-birds show up again and I predict this to be a 200lbs of sugar season
This time of year I have this cactus in the house that I call *dreadlock* cactus flowering (the wife always bitches about the cactus part)
Already mowed the 3 acre lawn twice and since it is raining right now I will have plenty of that to do in a few days since they say it could get up to 70...........sunny days does mean I get to bring my cars out and clean em up and put a few miles on them.
(maybe I should have done like my mom and have so many kids that you have to get a few good ones )
I planted this Magnolia when it was just a stick... just started the 2015 flowering (this is the Magnolia that is better known in southern States)

No one to leave anything to.........Here let me give you my address.......
And I plan on retiring at 60,seven to go,with 42 years in at the same place. And Im 52 now.
So for my retirement,I told the wife I wanna take the car and go out west for 2 maybe 3 weeks.
I drove out west back in 86 and made it up as far North as S.F.,never made it up any higher. nice country up there to btw.
You never know,if this board is still up and running in 2022,I`m coming your way.
I`d love to see that part of the country.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
You would like the Olympic Peninsula
Ocean and National Park rain forests and mountains,rivers,islands..........and if you want to visit Seattle it is about an hour east from where I am.
I never have driven east but have been to So-Cal in my 4X4 in 1984
I want to drive back east one of these days because I traced my family on dads side to N.Carolina back into the 1700's and just driving around the 48 States is plenty of stuff to see......as long as gas price doesn't go Obama on us

Add a tall palm tree and it sort of looks like Cravns place.
Yeah I remember your back yard aka practice for your golf game
Maybe I should paste that USPS truck out at the mail box
In fact I remember looking out that window upstairs
Nice neighborhood

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
very nice place you guys, is say we all did well with our lives.
Magic, you make that trek this season to jacksonville, the warmth and humidity do somethinb to our old bones, my back doesn't ache like it did up north, and I'd rather sweat then be bone chilled any day of the week.
I don't know when I'm fully retiring, might go til I'm 62, then hit some places out west, but until that time comes I'm having fun.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
You guys suck.............
I better not let the wife see these pics..........She wants to upgrade, but I`m kinda stubborn about it.
A husband and wife that live to the left of me live like hillbillies.he`s like 6ft 6 and weighs 280-290 lbs,his wife is 5ft tall and about as round. She works,he doesn`t.They actually do live in doghouse it seems like.Small with two big ogs living with them.
And it really burns my ass up,the dogs shit in my yard every now and then..........
The people to the right, are great people, their daughter and my daughter(step, but may as well be mine) are like best of buds and go to the same college.
But we use the same driveway...........We have 4 vehicles and they have 3.
Makes it interesting sometimes.
But the reason I have a hard time moving is tax reasons.
I don`t know what you pay in taxes, but mine is 2100$..........to live in house like yours,(a buddy of mine lives in a house like yours and pays 4800),I would refuse to pay the Gov that type of money to live.
I got 7 to go to retire with 2 pensions, one from the Union and the othwer from the International..........I don`t wanna be stuck.
and actually thought about getting a get-away,possibly a permanent place in Arizona.
We`ll see..................................
