I am thinking about getting a roll of British 1 ounce coins because the Queen won't live forever and you know when that day comes it will be a big deal.
Have to keep an eye on the price.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Nice but too bad it isn't BU
I got another roll of 20 Silver Eagles BU yesterday and they look perfect but I don't use a microscope
Those companies the certify coins always say the BU are not as good as they say but I say they are full of crap and just want you to pay them more than the silver value just to tell you they are 60 or better.
The 60 I have look perfect on front and back and the edge and that is good enough for me.
Of course nobody will get to handle mine so they will stay that way as long as I have em.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Please stay away from BU stuff, I dont need my coins graded an ounce of silver is 16.50 an ounce I dont t need some guy trying to sell me an ounce of silver for 50.00 caus its BU graded.
This type of grading nonsence is what exactly doomed the baseball card industry. We collected baseball and football cards of our favorite players and stars. Football and baseball cards from 1988 to the present are worth penny's, compared to when we actually opened them the worth 1.00 to 20.00 depending on the player. The grading system destroyed the fun of it. They would grade a card from a 1 to a mint 10, dealers took that number and multiplied the face value of the card by that number. Ex: 1998 Manning Topps booked at 20.00, dealers would get that card graded if it came back a mint 10 they would price it at 200.00.
The only ones that made out were the grading companys they charged 35.00 per card to have it graded.
Johnny U and I were talking in the 90's when card shows were at their peak, and he said something to me I'll never forget..Its just a piece of cardboard, what's all the buzz about.
Its just an ounce of silver, never forget that.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Oh I don't pay any insane price on these Silver Eagles BU
The price is the lowest price you can pay for coins that come straight from the US Treasury
$391.00 for 20 one ounce coins.
That isn't close to what they charge fo MS60-70
Always less than $20 each.....or I don't order.
Sure a silver bar is less but the value of coins goes up more than just the silver value.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
I received a real interesting news letter from Metals Money Exchange, now we have had 3 down years on the price of metals since the 2011 boom, of all the metals silver has never had 4 years of being down, EVER.. Magic I think you made a wise choice, you might be able to turn some of that silver into gold

Yeah I am on their emailing list too
SILVER is going up again today
Just wish I would have got 40 more coins like I planned when the price was low so I would have an even 200 Oz's
But that 100 Oz Bar and the 60 coins sure look sweet

Well, you guys finally convinced me. Picked up 10 - 1 oz bars from Silver Town. Paid $181 Thinking I'll do 10/mo for awhile, as long as the prices hover where they are...

Total. To my door. There's some odd change, but you know…
I don't want to mess with coins, I don't have time to look at/for those. I just wouldn't mind having a shiny little pile of silver.
