Geminid Meteor Shower tonight and tomorrow night

The Geminid meteor shower 2012 will peak overnight on Dec. 13 and Dec.14 and is set to be one of the most spectacular meteor showers of the year.

Skies should be clear on the east coast both nights and, being a new moon, visibility should be good in the east or northeast sky. They're talking an average of one meteor/minute.

Iam east coast. Aint seen the sun in 3 days. But i will be out there tonight n tomorrow

Just came in from some star-gazing in the cold. Beautiful cold, crisp, clear night with no moon. Saw 7 in about 10 min. 2 really nice long ones.

Great show. Wish it wasn't so late... I returned from shopping at 11:15 pm. I'm too tired and its too cold to stand out there any longer.

Got up at 4am..Nothing but what Magic posted..

Had to take a drive out into farm country to get clear of light pollution. Saw probably a dozen or so in about 20 minutes but only one "long" one. C-c-c-c-old.

Just seen a nice one. Muscle spasams at 1:30 has me up and ready
