Dell is my hero

Those IDIOTS.

I told Dell I needed a SATA drive.

A SATA drive.

Ok?? A SATA drive.

Not an IDE drive.

Nope, not an IDE drive.

I do NOT want the IDE. That's a different hookup configuration.


So what does Dell send me? An IDE drive......of course!! What the hell else WOULD they send me??? What, would they bother sending me the drive I freaking ASKED for??? Why the hell would they do THAT??? That wouldn't make any sense, eh? It makes PERFECT sense that they would send me a hard drive that they KNOW isn't compatable with my SATA cables.

Why didn't I just go down to CompUSA or Best Buy and buy the fucker off the shelf

But I figured since I was buying a PDA from Dell anyway, I just ordered the new drive at the same time. So now I have to wait until next Tuesday or Wednesday for my.......SATA DRIVE to arrive. And I have to pack the......IDE DRIVE (which I didn't order because.....well, because I have......SATA CONNECTORS) and ship the IDE DRIVE back to Dell (the company that sent me an IDE drive just to spite me).

*sigh*


Anyway, I'll post the lines today on the Spread Sheet forum. But I already deleted Frontpage from my old drive, so I can't update the website until I get the new SATA drive installed, download all the updates on a fresh copy of Windows, and install my software. Hopefully by the weekend of the 27th I'll have everything back to normal. All this shit was SUPPOSED to be done no later than this past Tuesday.
