I agree, but that was far more than a stretch... that was a flat out lie.
But I'll bet the comments were about another stop than the one on the video. Hard to believe she would go that far knowing those tapes were out there... but then again... as Crav said... she's a politician!

Oops. She "misspoke" regarding the events of the Bosnia trip (which is another way of saying, "Oops, they caught me").
WASHINGTON — Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign said she "misspoke" last week when saying she had landed under sniper fire during a trip to Bosnia as first lady in March 1996.
The Obama campaign suggested it was a deliberate exaggeration by Clinton, who often cites the goodwill trip with her daughter and several celebrities as an example of her foreign policy experience.
During a speech last Monday on Iraq, she said of the Bosnia trip: "I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."
According to an Associated Press story at the time, Clinton was placed under no extraordinary risks on that trip. And one of her companions, comedian Sinbad, told The Washington Post he has no recollection either of the threat or reality of gunfire.

Sure, she'd make a great Commander-in-Chief...
at least she's letting us know in advance she's not to be trusted.

...and he'll say NO! Its for freedom and the American way! Unfortunately, its in the middle east, where the "American way" is a mere babe in swaddling clothes compared to their history and ions of strife. To go there and try to impose our standards and ways is foolish.
They're all "stretchers of the truth" and cannot be trusted. That's the problem... I fear we'll be voting against someone, rather than for someone.

Hell ya we are in a war for oil. Why else would we be there. If oil dried up in the Middle East all the super powers would ignore them and they would turn into great big sand dunes.

Yup, then we would return to drilling in Texas, drilling more in the Gulf, and in Alaska. Then go back to buck a gallon fuel, and the US would be a better place. But no, Bush has our noses where it dosent belong and has us in an economic free for all. JFK could be our next pres, and it would take him more than 4 years to straighten out the quagmire that the Bush's have put us in...
Poor Hillary...Maybe she should withdraw, its going to take alomg time to recover from this.

GW Bush would love to drill for oil in Alaska but the bleeping liberals won't let us do that because we might make the mosquito's and caribou mad
......I'm trying to stay out of this discussion but you guys need a little help from the professor now and then.
Hell you even are tricked by one damn Obama speech.

Even the new poor slave minister there is doing the same BS.

Re: Cravn's Hero
GWB would love to drill for oil in Alaska...
Why do that? Their is a sand-oil field the size of Florida in Canada.....(2nd only in the world to the Saudi oil reserve)
Now if folks would just approve the BP 4 BILLION dollar expansion we could refine the crude.... it'll happen though. The oil field in Alaska is a blip on the map compared t this oil field.
