VENUS !!

Wait til the middle of the month, we'll see mars Jupiter Venus and the moon!!!

I don't see anything until this hurricane gets its ass in gear and heads north

That is what I saw early this morning about 5:15am

Jupiter and Mars in an arc up out of the east behind Venus and if you follow the arc across to the south higher in the sky was a bright half Moon

I had the binoculars outside and looked at all of them .....of course you get a good look at the Moon and if you can hold them still you can look at the bright Venus and see it looks just like the half Moon but you can still see the entire planet just like you can with the Moon.

Jupiter and Mars were fairly dim compared (especially Mars)

Way over in the SW it looks like they all are chasing Orion

Nice clear dark sky here this week so I will get a good look every morning.

And in the background at the same time is the bright star Regulus and that goofy constellation they named LEO the Lion back in the Mesopotamia     days  

It's gorgeous tonight not a cloud in the sky, humidity is gone, and I turned the ac off, first time since April!!!!

I'll be up early to get these planets in the am.

Venus was HUGE at 4:45 this am, Jupiter is making an appearance, it doesn't get light here til 7:00 so I should get to see Mars!!

You did see Mars....it is just real dim right now because it is up above Jupiter about half way between Jupiter and Venus.......just look for a real dim red looking star and that will be Mars

What a freekin view this morning got all 4 right there, and can even tell Mars.

It officially turned Fall here so I just get clouds and rain now

Almost time to fire up the wood pellets again.
