HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

I know how you all like to party so this will be one of the big days 
As I mentioned before I always have to mix up some concrete and try to remember to scratch the date in it so I remember what year I did it.
One that I didn't put the date on I always remember anyway is because it rained that evening so yiou can see where the rain drops hit the wet concrete and made it's own fireworks display.
I only have three 80lb bags so that is all I will do but it is part of my new addition to the sidewalk I thought I had finished last month.
I am adding marble tiles to this part and some of the blue crushed stones I have (forget the name of the damn things)
I will see if any of the neighbors light of a show or if I can see any in the distance from a town called Poulsbo that is about 25 miles SE of here.
So have fun and don't burn yourself with a sparkler or those black worms (do they still make those goofy things? )

These Hispanics down here think 4th of July starts June 15th, my poor pooch hates the fireworks, and is a basket case every time one goes off.
We will be heading to the beach, when ever sleeping beauty arises, told her to set the alarm for 5:30 if she wants a good spot on the beach. As you see, she did not.
She must think Im a rabbit, all I see is fruits and veggies packed for the cooler, and you think she would have gotten me beer so I wouldnt have to stop? well she didnt. Thats OK

Happy 4th! Went to the lake and did some redneck yacht clubbing with the son and his family.
Got a tube for the 'toon this year, so the grandkids can have some fun.
Home from the lake, did a 3.5 "walk," showered, and ready to go get some vittles.
Probably will stop somewhere and check out some of the fireworks around here... have at least 6 places within 10 mi of here shooting them off.
Tomorrow we pick up the daughter's two lil ones (IndyColt's too, I guess...lol) and b-sit until Sunday. CK will be one tired SOB Fri night, Sat night, and Sun night! But it will be the best!

Hey Kurt, you would love this, this is the Intercoastal Waterway, you can boat from Delaware to Miami without going in the Atlantic Ocean..But any way, your boat is perfect for this place, its called disappearing island, when low tide comes about the waterway way becomes one huge party grounds.

a 9lb flounder was just weighed in last week, it was as big as a door mat.
We went last month and caught red snapper, mango snapper and sheepshead..All this is new to me, these are fish I see when snorkeling in the Caribbean
