This is just a great fucking video.
Joe Cocker, Brian May and Queen.. and yes thats Phil Collins playing drums..

Cocker has one of the most distinctive voices ever.
I've also discovered that the Live version of Up Where we belong from the same concert seems to make the girlfriend melt and forget she is mad at me! LOL

He plays all the instruments... that one really big album/CD he did... the last one(?) - as I recall, he played all the instruments and did all the vocals as well.
Appears he's pretty good at editing too!

I enjoy you guys posting all these youtubes of the classics... I sometimes forget about how lucky I was to grow-up when I did. There is no rock being produced today. Period.

That's a fact Kurt......which is why I do that here when I get in that mood sinc3e youtube has some hard to believe music video's of the past.
Btw for some reason Phil Collins plays the drums for many of the legends (maybe he grows ganja for them )
There is a youtube of Phil playing the drums for John Bohnam when Jimmy Page and Robert Plant did a Bohnam tribute and played some Zeppelin

Oh yeah Cravn.... before Collins took a hiatus from performing he was recognized as one of the best drummers in the business.
Of course that guy is just so damn multi-talented people forget that about him.. (in the Air Tongiht was a masterpiece on the drums)
But of course the guy that probably is the best today is Kenny Aronoff from Good Old Indiana..... He lays down drum tracks on everything and plays with everybody.. (and he IS better than Overrated Neil Peart)

Guess I was to busy with the bionic bong than to look at what artist played what instrument

It's out there CK. We just have been cursed with the American Idol era, it won't last much longer though.
(I heard it through the grapevine that a certain Mr. Summer is working on something which could be pretty big that is being produced by a couple of national Radio celebrities in Indy.

Well someone needs to help that dude out... it appears he's too cracked out to help himself... he'll owe B&T bigtime if it works out.
