Re: Mr Kurt
For those of us out-of-staters what are alternative options for getting tickets? Brokers like stub-hub? Help us out here. I'm willing to PAY (and spend the bucks to get to Indy for the weekend), just gotta understand the options. Hope there are some.

Mr Blue, you looking at some packages on Expedia or Travelocity?? I will be booking out of BWI or Philly, whichever is cheaper.

Re: Mr Kurt
Cravn, I'm honestly still considering driving...out Fri/Sat and back on Monday (as I did for the AFC playoff game in January '06). Not a big deal for me.
I did some fast checking on StubHub for tickets. Lowest (only 1 seat remains as far as I could tell) is $85 and that'll put you in the high end zone. Better end zone/sideline seats are in the $300 per seat range. I'd like to stay below $250 for a ticket but that's looking difficult. Add in hotel, and travel and I'm probably looking at $1000-1200 for the weekend just for me.
I'll make hotel arrangements once I have the ticket in hand.

Check em out, its not as expensive as you think, leaving on an early Sat flight and returning Monday, flight and hotel was around 425-500...

Re: Mr Kurt
I sell two of my four tix to my sis and bro-in-law. I'll check to see if they want to sell theirs. I'll also ask around for others I know with season tix.
My "partner" at the office has control of quite a few club seats... which means high dollar. Lower level between the 30's. I'll see if he wants to sell any.
You'll get some seats... don't worry.

You sure you don't just want to drive up to Lancaster then drive along with me on the trip to Indy?

I kinda think you're the one who will be getting tormented. Especially if you show up wearing purple in enemy territory.

Re: Mr Kurt
Excuse me?
Did you say cow-tipper?
I beg your pardon, sir... I'M A BOURBON-SIPPER except on game day... then I become a BEER GUZZLER!
UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!!
CK JUST spoke with his Customer Relationship Rep for your Indianapolis Colts! In addition to the 4 seats up in the upper section of Lucas... I just added 2 additional seats to the package! They're MINE baby! Lower level, corner - home side - row 20!!! A bit pricier... $94 each, but CK now has 6 season tix! I'M PUMPED!!!
I'm pretty sure the son and son-in-law will be stoked as well!
Sounds like Crav and Blue just might be covered...

Re: Mr Kurt
I almost feel guilty... there's like 20K on a waiting list and I get 2 more? They say its based on seniority and we've had them since day one, so I guess this is payback for being there throughout... the worst of seasons imaginable to the top of the heap! I've probably posted this, but I've only missed like 10 games. Period. Preseason included. Since 1984.
They won't say, but its been insinuated that our ID# is pretty high/low (whatever) on the list... that's why we have had a shot at SB tix whenever they've been available. I sure don't need this expense right now, but these tix are now ours. My dad started it long ago, and now I've been able to add to it.
I feel good about that.

Good stuff, Kurt! Now, let me know (send a message) what the cost is and your snail-mail address and I'll see you get the money.
Hell, I'll even sit next to Cravn if it has to come down to that.

Re: Mr Kurt
Hey man.....while I can't travel this season, I'll be able to next season.
And you know what that means......mighty_colts is comin' to town, often!!
Will you be able to deal with a mighty_colts who has a few beers in him??? Or will mighty_colts do the socially responsible thing and drink an $8 stadium Pepsi to wash down his $8 stadium hot dog??? Or perhaps there will be no need for mighty_colts to spend 8 bucks for 2 cents of scrap meat (hot dogs consist of cow ears, hoof, tail, anus, testicles, ect) because we'll tailgate before the game, consuming grilled cow meat (not the scraps), or perhaps grill a chunk of smoked salmon along with some jumbo shrimp???
However, there is one thing I have to consider.....I refuse to take a national ID card. The state of Arizona is also refusing. This means I may not be able to board a plane anymore, so I may have to drive.....which is fine by me, though.

...coming to town OFTEN? (oh shit, hide the women and cover the ears of the kids...)
Without flying? That's a helluva drive... and with gas at nearly $4.00 a gal. now?
What's this National ID card thing you refer to? Won't a AZ driver's license do? I've got and use a passport, but I suppose that's no different than the national ID card you won't get...
While you're at it... swing up there and bring Magic along... he'll be over the blues caused by losing to the Celtics by then... hopefully.
