HEY KURT???
How come you didn't mention who was at the game sunday????
DAMN!
My favorite Colts from our HS days
THAT is a game I would have loved to have been to.
I still have his MVP SI cover magazine here.

Re: HEY KURT???
I didn't know it until yesterday when that same picture was in the Indianapolis Star newspaper. They never announced anything that I heard and we were in the stadium a good 45 minutes before the kick.
While it was a classy move on Jimmy's part, it would have been nice had they trotted the (former) players out for halftime or the coin toss, or something.

I'll try to post the link to the article that was in the paper to really ruin the day for you, John!
There was a line in it that said something to the effect that "they belong here, now." Nice!

Re: HEY KURT???
Well ummm I guess you could read the only thread worth reading on the espn nfl boards.....
The 1975 Colts were down on the field when you were there Kurt....in the endzone.
They may have been on the other end from you and 99 and I did find the rest of the pictures taken by AP so they didn't put the rest in the paper.
It was coach Ted Marchibroda, joined by quarterback Bert Jones, running back Lydell Mitchell, wide receiver Roger Carr, offensive linemen George Kuntz, Ken Mendenhall and David Taylor, defensive greats Mike "Mad Dog" Curtis, Bruce Laird, John Dutton and Fred Cook.
Mike Curtis emailed me and asked for Cravn's home address
They only have one Mike Curtis picture but lots of Bert Jones and Lydell Mitchell pics but I didn't see any pic of Roger Carr so I guess he still runs faster than a camerman
BTW next on NFL Network is the replay of the Colts-Texans game.
And you know they will have next sundays game on the replay.....but probably will skip that one in Baltimore

Re: HEY KURT???
Bruce Laird couldnt have been there, hes the anaylst for the Ravens and MASN Tv. He was on the tube Sunday from the B-More studios..
Oh and Mighty, JohnnyU might have had a heart of gold, but for that man, it was a lump of coal..The STUPID FUCKING drunk, SOLD the greatest QB to lace em up to the Bolts, and didnt have the balls to tell the man himself, sent his secretary to do it..
Just like the "Sneak Out" he didnt have the balls to tell the officials himself, he just tried to re-enact the midnight ride of Paul Revere and sneak out during the middle of the night.
