Venison stew today....
with fried biscuits and apple butter...
with a nice dark beer to wash it down....

Here here..........Actually I`m using the roaster today.
Corned beef and cabbage with carrots,turnips and potatoes.With a few ice cold Bud Lights.
House has a funny odor,but good eatin.
The odor will piss off the wife and daughter when they get home from the daughter`s gymnastics comptition.
They can`t stand it.

I'll add to the torture -- I'm making barbeque beef in my crockpot. Should have some nice barbeque beef sandwiches, potato hash and green bean/bacon side around halftime of the Packers game!

First Sunday in a while I've had free... if I catch some of the games, fine. If I don't.. fine too. I'm already in the off season mode. Got over it. Life's too short to dwell on what could have, should have been.
Besides, we're in full wedding preparation mode. That and grand baby mode... Finalize the reception, invites, flowers, and showers in the next 7 days. Female emotions running at critical stages! DANGER, CK! DANGER, CK!!!

Btw a couple minutes ago I looked out the window at the frosty white and bright sunshine and all of a sudden 20 BIG white Swanny's fly right at the house pretty low to the ground and over the pond and I watched them fly in a long white line several miles down the valley from me where they land in one of the wet fields to munch all day
Must be some of Swanny's relatives

Well I wouldn't shoot any of the youngsters in that picture.... or the runty little thing showing it's hindquarters....
