You know, i grew up in the 70's. We did a little bit o' everything. And while I've personally met several (in this case, 4) and worked or interacted with others (3 more), I'll vouch for the "legitimacy" of this esteemed group. Despite all that, I cannot help but say...

Some of the comments here are outstanding clap , some insightful wink , and some incredibly beyond my comprehension whoa . But that's what keeps me here.

This place is awesome. hellyes

Here's to a great upcoming 2013-14 season! cheerstoyou

Kurt I still remember the day I talked you into joining our group from back on the old Colts espn board.

And I am glad I did and glad you stayed with us.

Hell where I live I can be home all day for a week and never see another human (other than the wife)

And none of my friends live within 50 miles so it is always nice to see you here and I will never forget meeting you my last trip to Indy and I am the type that wonders if  you could have been some goofball when we arrived and it turned out you are actually a guy I would call a friend and I don't do that very often.

Maybe some day I can get you and your wife back here on the Peninsula on one of your vacation trips.
Preseason starts on Aug. 4th and the Colts play on the 11th (I know you aren't a preseason fan lol )

I guess I should start trying to talk all of you into mailing me the *Chips* so I don't have to wait until the regular season has started horsey

(Damn it Cravn I wanted to go to that game with you in Baltimore that time when #19 was there and just my luck he went to football heaven)

And now you had to move to Florida......and as close as I ever want to be to that State was when I had you on the phone down there laughing

.....yeah it is probably nice there if all the aliens would leave for a week cheerstoyou

I love this place 5bv5

The Colts play in Jax every year, which is only 80 miles away, as long as the Ravens are on bye week, Id make the 1 1/2 hr drive up. You would love jax, close to the Atlantic, close to St Augistine where you could find the fountain
of youth.

Ravens first pre season game is in two weeks in Tampa, which is 1 2 hr drive over, I think we'll skip that one, it'll be on TV.

We getting geared up for the October 6 game we have in Miami, Drew and my eldest daughter are flying in, sweet a weekend on South beach, sounds good to me.

You know, the heat and humidity do the body good, over this last year and a half my back has felt great, and now that Im back to working, it still feels great.

Funny... as your visit was approaching, the bride constantly kept on me... "How do you know these guys aren't ax murderers or something? Twisted Evil  You and your internet weirdos..." Ha Ha Ha!

I told her that if you had the cash to fly-in and stay in the hotels downtown, then that's all I need to consider you to be at least halfway legit! (Still not convinced on Cravn, tho... lol )

Yeah mine said the same thing Kurt......but I said we still get to make the trip and go to the games and actually spend a few days in Indy since we didn't the first time........same team won both times but we got a much better look of the city the 2nd time.

Sounds like the same weather as we get in July and August........80's and 90's and we have the rain forests west side of the Peninsula......no rain at my place since June I guess.......hell I don't remember the last rain we got.

The wife has been to Florida many times but I have never been anywhere near the SE of the country.

BUT that Fountain of Youth sounds nice so if you find it tell me cheerstoyou

laughing

After I post that picture I went outside to hose down the concrete I did yesterday and I look up out towards where that pumphouse tower is and walking right in front of me is a mom deer and her baby and the wife is sitting by the pond near the creek and the 2 deer hop right between us and jump into the field below up on the back side of the pond.

Then they run up the gravel road and the baby runs right back in to my place down at the gate!

She must have said something and the baby ran back out onto the road and I couldn't see where they went.

All my neighbors have dogs and the one with the bobcat so they should just stay here and eat all the free food and later can have free apples since I have about 1000 extras each year.

Then I see a young Bald Eagle out in one of my sequoias and it dives down into the field like it caught a rat or a snake or something and all the swallows start dive bombing it so it hit the road but it is pretty big for a young eagle already.

The neighbor with the bobcat says the coyotes on her place has been killing the ducks over there (same creek that goes through my place)

So if the coyotes visit me I will have to introduce them to Betsy the 12 gauge cowboy

I thought Kurt might be an axe murderer but I fugured as long as he didn't get out the axe until AFTER the Colts beat Green Bay, I'd be OK with that. happy2
