Man I remember back when I was a youngster in 1973 staying up late at night.....every night watching Tom's show.

One of a kind and replacing him with Dave Letterman was just like what we will see as the Tonight show goes from Carson to Leno........to that dip shit Conan.

If you saw that night when the late Sterling Hayden was on Toms show you will know what I mean.

They played a snip from an interview he had with Charles Manson back in the day. I'm pretty sure it was Synder who talked to Manson. At the time of the interview, Manson had just been released from a 10 year prison stint.....he said he told the prison warden that he wanted BACK IN PRISON because he "couldn't handle all the maniacs in the outside world"
