smile We have those here too!

There is a company west from me that builds the log homes and I drive by a nice big place on the hiway that somebody had built a few years ago.....looks nice!

And the biz always has a mountain of those perfect logs for us all to see.

A friend from back in the old days actually built his own giant log house out of logs on his proerty and he was an old school hipster so he did the entire thing by hand.

Cut the tree's by hand......peeled by hand.......hand pulled the logs to the building site with a "come along" and cut them all to size and all the rest by hand.........not even a chain saw!

That was back in the 70's and I haven't seen the place since then but I imagine it is still there.

Really? Hmmm I didn't know that was going on this weekend.

But I do have plans to go to the gun show tommorow at the fairgrounds. I guess I'll have to swing by the log home show as well.

Thanks for the lookout CK!!

And if I build a new log home I'll have to have the biggest insururance selling Colts fan insuring it...

Lots going on there at the fairgrounds... we went to the Patio Show tonight... the Gun & Knife Show was on, The Log Home show, a Midwest Reptile Show (?), a Bridal Show, a computer sale... geez!

Bring plenty of cash, 2shock... costs $3 just to get on the grounds!
