You're good. The rules (posted in a sticky so everyone can read them if they care to do so) state:

"By the kick off of the first game of the season (normally a Thursday night game) all participants will be required to post their Super Bowl predictions. Each participant will select the two teams they believe will be in the Super Bowl as well as the Super Bowl winner."
