Well I planned ahead and closed BOTH gates and after all these years the trees are so big down there that I can't see the Union protesters anymore



I made that last section on the end of the sidewalk I made so it ends at the end of that famous concrete flower box

Nine 80lb bags on extra strength ready-mix plus about 100lbs of rocks.......a couple old computer HD's and 3 John Deere mower blades as rebar    .......no bars of silver  

Then I used stones from my stash collection to make that image of the Milky Way galaxy and in the center is a shiny black stone aka a Black Hole
.......I have all the concrete poured but was one bag short so I had to drive over to the city to get more at Home Depot

So it is in the trunk of the Chrysler

So since I have an old battery in that car I leave it running just to listen to that old classic as I go over to the project and bend down to place that Black Hole stone in the center so I could finish the concrete around it and as I am placing it on the wet concrete I hear the line from that song "like Black Holes in the sky"......now THAT was strange indeed and I imagine Roger Waters would have to write a new song about that!!

..........and then yesterday when we saw a car down at the gate I tried to see who it was but they drove away and all I could see is which way it turned on the hiway........so I run as fast as I can (these days) back up to the other side of the place with the binoculars to the old bridge I made back in 1999 out of concrete and old 4X8's that were here on the place before me and try to look down the valley to see if I can pick out that car........well those old lumber crossings have been breaking the last couple years but the ones left were sort of ok.........well I get on the bridge........ put the binoculars up to my eyes to look......CRASH the one under my right leg snaps and I drop 3 feet into the creek with one leg and the next I know I am crashed to the earth and my forehead smacks right on the sharp corner of the concrete base on the far side of the creek.....so that is about a nine foot drop of my head to concrete.

Not sure if it knocked me out for a second or what but I put my hand on the forehead and yeah......blood running down my face.......by the time I get up and start heading to the house both hands are RED (I take those heart pills that are blood thinners)

Well the goofy wife finally gets up and gets a band-aide on me and I clean up most of that magical red paint I got all over the sink (and I see some on the floor right now) so last night I had a headache all night and couldn't sleep.......now today have the big bump on my forehead.

This will be hurting for a while I imagine

Yeah the wife says she is going with me to my cardio doc appointment on the 3rd to tell him what I do and he is supposed to be telling me the results of those tests I took this month

It is 90 degrees in the shade here today so I just walked around watering plants and feeding the fish and ducks.

Must admit I have never had a cut and bump on the forehead before.....and my shoulder and back is hurting today so it must be from my crash on the bridge (I didn't even go look at that disaster bridge since then) but I will end up replacing them all with probably pressure treated 4X8's or 4X10's

You should see the gash I got in my forehead Wednesday, wasn't paying attention and walked smack dab into a trucks mirror, and we all know about head wounds they bleed like a waterfall.

You would think looking down the valley with the binoculars would normally be a safe thing

If I lived in your area I would be there

I have another project here just started yesterday for a short walk way in front of the house behind that BIG dish since a mower won't fit there I want the grass and weeds to be stopped for good.

No no, I sent magic some pictures, when you pull up to the garage on the left side, the driver gets out and has to step in a garden area, that I can't get shit to grow in besides weeds. The Mrs wants that area concreted over.
