Meanwhile near record setting rainfall in Central Indiana. 3rd year in a row we've had lower than normal temps and above avg. rainfall.

This is our 4th summer in Florida, we've been to 1 hurricane party(Sandy) , and she was 300 miles east of new Smyrna when she went by.

Over 90 again this weekend.

Just watered the newer palm trees I added last Spring and a rhodie cutting I planted this year after a couple years in the cutting box.

Watered my 50' by 40' piece that is my official "lawn" in front of the house yesterday so it is ready for this (golf course grass I planted back in the early 1990's)

I have all these bags of concrete and for a rare season I didn't make anything on the 4th  

And the wife now wants me to do nothing but sit around thanks to a call my new cardio doc gave her the other day (from India like the guy who answers the phone when you call Microsoft)

So I decided to do a 3' X 3' spot at the end of the sidewalk at the end of the famous 110 bag of concrete flower box from 2009

I have some rocks from the beach to add to give it some sort of style.

I think I will get some shade from that biggest sequoia at the SW end of the house.
