Goodbye Tiger, hello Kitty!
Dude is toast. 15 over.
Read somewhere that 15 years ago he won by 15. Today shot 15 over. A 15 year old beat his score…

YES that was great to see and I can tell he does NOT like Chambers Bay
He was in those long brown grass roughs or bunkers most of the time.
That kid was one lucky pup.......not to mention he has a name that could replace Tigers ( Cole Hammer )
Sound like a future pro golfer to me
I hope the winner is either Phil or Jordan Speith
Phil tells that ball where to fly with his wedges and they seem to do what they are told.

Re: Goodbye Tiger, hello Kitty!
So far today Tiger has added another +1 to his score to +11
My pick Jordan Spieth is in the lead with -5
Phil is up for his 2nd round in about an hour.
We actually got the first rain of the month last night so maybe that brow-greens got some help but I doubt it.

Re: Goodbye Tiger, hello Kitty!
It seems the boys are really bitching about the course, I say fuck them, go play golf these courses aren't designed for your game, this is going to be a good contest, tired of seeing 15 under pars for a final score.

Re: Goodbye Tiger, hello Kitty!
You have to be good with your irons for sure.
The main thing they don't like is the greens have the wrong type of grass so you can putt at the hole and it will bounce and hop in different directions.
They are not used to putting on any greens like that.......only us amateurs have to do that
Usually we see them putting on what looks like a pool table.

Re: Goodbye Tiger, hello Kitty!
Not much about golf pisses me off more than when these "pros" get pissed when they hear the click of a camera during their backswing. If they're so damn good, that should have NO effect. Prima Donnas. Really sets me off.

How's that whole "Bubba" thing working out for you, Cravn?
I like the course (thank God I'll never play it) but the TV coverage is pretty sucky. It's nearly impossible to see the ball when they show it rolling onto the "green" and Greg Norman's and Tom Weiscoff's commentary is useless (and Tom's monotonic droll drives me nuts). There! I've vented. Heading out to try out my new 3-wood on the local course.

Re: Goodbye Tiger, hello Kitty!
BTW, the LPGA's US Open is scheduled to start here 2 weeks from Monday (July 6th). It's at the Lancaster Country Club (about 1 mile from my place) and I have 7 tickets. I plan to go with friends for one practice round and either a Thursday or Friday championship round. Traffic that week will be challenging. If you get a chance, check out the TV coverage during the final round on July 12th.
Oh, and I'm gonna find this golfer and follow her.

Funny thing is, at the time she was dating Ben Rothellsberger and she came out with a Stealers #7 Jersey on, she wasn't greeted to nicely.
