My first thought when I heard they were coming was, "Gotta be there!" Not so sure now… granted it will be a great show - they announced earlier this week that Rascal Flats was the opening act - being the 4th of july and at IMS and all, but… no seating… hotter that shit (I bet)… AND the Stones ARE 70 years old. They're a shell of what they once were. Hell, all those bands that blew all their cash and go back out are… I have to believe those in attendance will come away disappointed. BUT.. it is the Stones…
But I think the lake and pontoon-time will win out.
I think I'll likely just buy the inevitable DVD and rock out at home, on the sofa, sipping a nice Makers 46.

Yeah I bet the weather can be a bit to hot for the customers but I think the old timers will have air conditioning on that stage and the sun will be behind them.

It was probably hot in Orlando friday but they said it was great and they were surprised they sounded so good and Mick still acts like a kid.

I know if I was that age I would just stay home and count my gold

But this is their 50th anniversary thing and The Who are doing that too.

Stones skipped Seattle but The Who will be here.

Of course I never go to the city  unless I am hauled away so I will catch it on the local news and youtube with The Who.

Mick Jagger will turn 72 on July 26th and Charlie Watts turned 74 on June 2nd and the youngster Ronnie Wood turned 68 on June 1st

And that cat with nine lives Keith Richards won't be 72 until December 18
