2014 Playoffs - Picks, Results and Standings

Wild Card Weekend - Picks and Results for your printing pleasure.  I suck at this game.  PackerBacker and I both had Goose Eggs and are the dregs sitting at the bottom of a pile of sludge.   On to Week Two.  Same sort of betting with 4 games being played.

Divisional Playoffs Weekend - Picks and Results for your printing pleasure.  OK, my plan is to get a Goose Egg each week if that's what it takes for the Colts to keep winning.  Bunch of players tied at the top with 6 points.  I'm the dreg at the bottom.

Conference Championship Weekend - Picks and Results for your printing pleasure.  Thus ends the playoff series.  Two Goose Eggs (Arkman and CravnRavn) but one Perfecta (PackerBacker...who can't possibly be happy with the outsome of that game).  The total points earned here carry forward to Super Bowl Sunday in two weeks.  In addition, four players (dergio, primetime, RR& Hawks, and hawkfan8812 - a non-chip player), earn two bonus points for correctly predicating a Seattle/New England Super Bowl way back in August!  If Seattle wins the Super Bowl (outright, without regard to spread, in this case), they'll each get an additional 3 points added to their end-of-year total.  And, Wood20ks and IndyColt can pick up 3 bonus points based on their prediction of a Seattle Super Bowl repeat. (Treasurer says a couple cuss words)

I'm kinda thinkin' the chipless wonders won't bother. Really, what's the point?

You do have those two bonus points though. That'll help.

Go Ravens!! If the team with the ugliest uniforms in the NFL wins, they get Brady and company. Which means, assuming a Colts win (not likely but we can dream, can't we?), Colts go to Denver.

Thought of my picks Friday night and then spent yesterday prepping for a trial and completely blanked about football. Damn work getting in the way of important business.

Damn #90 Lawrence who recovered the fumble that would have set up that spread covering FG for Dallas

Not to mention that kicker misses the easy FG as they are talking about how great that kicker is

And I am only good at picking the straight-line picks (you had a nice 2nd half over there btw)

Detroit got totally screwed...............I hate the cowboys as much as I do GB.
