Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Keep on climbing up the charts SILVER
Of course it isn't easy to sell at the price it is at unless it is to somebody you know that can stop by your house and trade you cash for it to get around the shipping part and not having to use a credit card.
$700 profit for me if that was possible today

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
I see Silver was up over $17 for a few minutes........not that we could make any profit unless somebody pays us the asking price and drive by to pick it up and pay cash
I wish it would go up to some insane price and then I would just sell it all.......since I still prefer the autographed pictures of Ben Franklin
....in other news.......I can't find the damn keys that go to the garage among other things so I can't even back the Jaguar out.
Since I know the tricks I did get the other door to open where the Cutlass drives out but it needs some ignition fix since it decided it doesn't want to start anymore and the way my knee is I can't even get in and file the points to see if that will let her fire up.
Then I wish I could get a house call from a good mechanic since I have had a new electronic racing distributor in the box for a few years now and would love to see how that 455 runs with something a bit newer than the original 1970 distributor.
Man I think 60 is over the hill since everything has sucked so far (well except that 206 I got bowling a few weeks ago )
I skipped my usual bowling today hoping my knee will recover giving it 2 weeks off........my luck.....well....

Silver Ask$16.31
Not too bad.......my bar went up $115 and the coin rolls up $40 each
the British and Canada's didn't go up as much but the QUEEN won't live forever....not that I will ever sell these ......well unless it goes up to $100 per OZ
Silver Ask$16.57 today (8-4-19)

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
How much of the shiny stuff do you have, Magic? I'm up to about 5.5 lbs. now. Haven't bought any for awhile... I generally don't buy unless it's in the low $15 range. I'll consider selling some off if it gets to $25... just shy of $17 this morning.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
I have about 300oz's and I only buy when it is less than $15....it has to be mid $14 before I buy more these days.
It would have to go up over $20 for me to make a profit unless the buyer wants to pick them up down at the gate with cash
Silver Ask $17.25 Up $0.72 today just after noon

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
I'm so kicking myself in the ass. Mom passed away in October. I discussed with Drew about buying a few ounces of gold. It was 1207 an ounce when we were discussing buying...Didn't pull the trigger on gold but we got 20 oz of silver.

YOW you could have made a profit today at that price Cravn
Gold Ask $1,503.55 UP $29.45 right now and Silver Ask $17.19
Silver is up almost $3 an ounce for my 100oz bar and the coins up pretty nice too and when I got the Canada and British coins it was 25 each in those rolls and a few US Eagles from the 2013 and 2014 versions (maybe a 2016 roll) and the QUEEN can't live forever.....but she probably will be the first 100 year old Queen of England some day

Not sure why I will buy more since I would have to live another 50+ years for it to matter......but I have to buy a roll of the 2020 Silver Eagles just because of that date on the coins.
Not to mention the price is really low right now thanks to the corona virus scam and the Dow flies up and down over and over so I will watch for the next drop and pick up a roll.
Silver bars are even cheaper but I already have the 100oz bar and that is plenty.
They say for the first time they are changing the design of the Silver Eagles so this is the last and lowest priced year

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
So I was watching the silver prices dive and picked up 20 oz when is was like $12.45...
Not a windfall profit, but nice to see/know r=that it's now back up to $15.50. I like 25% returns. Wish ALL my shiny pile was bought at $12 something...

Even just selling back to the company we bought the silver FROM

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
What's odd to me is that all the silver bars are shown as OUT OF STOCK. They're saying the delivery times are slower than normal due to HIGH DEMAND. Who the hell is buying all this silver at these crazy prices?

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
YEAH John and I are watching the prices all the time now
My 100oz bar is a $1700 PROFIT right now and even selling back to JM is over $1000 Profit
I'm looking at some selling prices at Ebay right now and they have my 100oz bar from $3,100 to $3,400
I payed $1600
And then I have 120 coins all perfect

I would sell for that price right now and then buy again when it drops back down

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
As I type, we're at $29.86 /oz. I'm cashing out tomorrow. When I called earlier today, my local coin shop was paying $280/10oz bar.
Price is higher now, but at that number, I'm just short of doubling my money. $2700 in - $5100 back. It's time.

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Dropped to $28.08
Maybe I should have grabbed that $3,011
Hope this is just a tease and it moves back up to $30 then I might give that 100oz bar back

Re: B.C Investing ( SILVER and Gold Pt 2)
Well I broke down and bought a 2021 eagle this past week. Really sharp looking. Ended up paying 36 for it..didnt like doing that since silver is on the slide. But it's done deal.
