LIGHTNING VS SEQUOIA TREE Empty LIGHTNING VS SEQUOIA TREE

Lightning storm here a couple weeks ago the same time as the one at the Denver vs Ravens game and the lightning exploded the sequoia that is in the middle of a row of them down the valley by my post office and these trees are over 50 years old and the reason I started planting mine 26 years ago.....so lets see if my slide show will work for you better than on my DSL

I have a feeling that they are using the big pieces that landed in the field behind those trees to make stuff......since it is a big farm inherited by some crazy old hippy chick and I was going to grab a chunk of the tree but some young guy with dreadlocks drove up down on the field so I just decided to come home and see how those pictures looked.

I sure don't want to see one of my sequoia's get hit like that sucks 

I do tend to cut down trees here I don't want and saw them up for firewood to give to people that need it but I think it might be a bit expensive for you to ship it UPS on about the longest trip across the country to your place  lol 

We did have 2 cold days already so I have had to fire up my pellet stove twice so far but only for a few hours just to heat up the place for when the wife gets up early every morning.

I burned 1 fire last year, early March, it only made it to 50 but was windy as all get out, so that night I lit a fire,
