John, John, John...Aren't you one of those "anti-stats" guys who always put Peyton down because he was "all about the stats"? Now, you reference stats to make a case for Flacco. Which is it, my friend?

The ESPN link (here's a better one: http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr) is to a breakdown of QB's by ESPN not simply based on stats but on various statistically computed values. Flacco scores poorly on running ability and on taking sacks and those hurt his overall rating.

I posted the link simply to make the case that Flacco may not be "all-world" and that stats can be manipulated in pretty much any way to make a case for or against a player.

Enjoy your QB. Let me know when he wins his first MVP.

P.S. I followed your CBSSports link. Per that site, Flacco is #3 in passing yards. But, per that same site, Flacco trails Peyton in overall QB rating, 95.8 to 96.9.

For god sake Blue, you used the most overrated stat their is passer rating there is, I really dont pay mind to that, it means absolutely nothing..
