So am I reading this right that the winner of the big purse is based solely on the results of the postseason and that the regular season doesn't factor into the winning at all (other than getting rewarded for being a division winner)?

You are correct Mary.
You can compare it to actual Pro football.
Division Champions get to brag and hang a flag (and get a few *Chips* like a certain lucky Tesla did) and then it moves on to the playoffs where all teams are equal.......until they lose games (or pick the wrong winners) and they are out of the playoffs........or in our case have to do better the following week and hope the others let you catch and pass them up and in the end one wins the BC Superbowl and one is just lucky enough to be in the Superbowl and the other 17 members just have to try again next season........just like a Pro football team has to do

Yep, the days of the division winners being handed the BC Championship on a silver platter are over.....now the BC Champion has to EARN his/her Crown and compete with everybody else!!

Kobesgame there is one similarity between the postseason and playoffs. I kicked your ass in the regular season and I am going to kick your ass in the playoffs and win the chips.
