Re: UP ON THE ROOF.......Day 7
I remember seeing that one.
It did take 2 to get out of bed after yesterday but I can't do what he is doing.
Today is sunny so I better get out there and see if I can get most of the metal screwed down because they just said we may get a few days of rain starting tonight.
But they are weatherclowns so who knows.
I could use the few days of rest after today because I think we might have a pitchin' wedge contest and BBQ on sunday
Almost 1 in the afternoon so I guess I better get up.

I have a hunch that if it won't work on beef, most likely won't be served in the Hebrew Hammer's kitchen!

Sure! I'll add it to the collection of recipes we have but don't need because we never eat at home! (Wife has been on vacation from work since 7/5... we have had 1 - ONE - dinner at home so far.

I really would rather not have a dry rub.

Re: UP ON THE ROOF.......Day 7
Well we have several guys at the BBQ that do the cooking and all I know is they use charcoal and alder chips to do the smoking part
I just hit golf balls while they cook.
I have seen shrimp there before but I don't eat those.
But the different salmon are great and one of the guys lives down the road from there and he has the cattle and so does one of the other guys so it is always fresh.
Well on Day 7 I put the rest of the metal roofing up and it only stabbed me once so I added some red paint to the tar paper which was so hot I couldn't touch that or the dark green metal seconds after laying it on the roof.
Ran out of screws so the last two pieces will need more screws and the 23ft cap is not up there yet.
I got that far at about 6:30 last night and picked up the tools and put the Power Wagon back in the garage and as expected it started pouring rain around 4am.
So I will get more screws when I get a chance and finish this (some wood trim too) and I have to figure out how I will get up to the top to put the cap on without sliding back down and crashing on the ground
But I did get today off thanks to the rain.
Now I need some "LUCK" so I can win the pitching wedge money sunday
