Re: Hey Kurt
Thanks for thinking of me! Gassed it up today when I had a short break in the action... (t-ball at 8am, watch 2 gr-kids till noon, lunch and errands, gas the toon, gr-son's 2nd bday party at 4:30.)
Planning on logging major time Sunday on the H2O... gonna be hot - like 88. Hit it early, round 2 of riders around noon... stay out till close to dinner. Maybe head back out at 8ish.

I have it in the water at the marina. Don't even have a trailer... bought it from a guy that lives on the lake.
It wouldn't work any other way for me. I use it so much more, its worth the ridiculous amount they get for the dock space.
15 minutes from my driveway, I'm on the boat.

Aint that the truth!! It was our best day when we sold our boat back in the 90's..It just seemed like back then every week was 200 bucks a partner, and hell fuel on the water was only 1.85 a gallon, I dont even want to know what it cost nowadays.

Ha! About $ .80-1.00/gal more that at the regular pump. BUT - keep in mind the gas at the marina does NOT contain any alcohol/ethanol... that stuff will "eat" your motor on the boat...

Re: Hey Kurt
We still have the highest price in the country for gasoline here.
They always make up some excuses and act like Washington isn't the closest State to Alaska and this little pond called the Pacific Ocean.
As.....I .....leave the house for another $20 worth just to mow the fucking lawn.

And that's with no sales tax... doesn't the $$ raised from gas taxes do away with the need for sales tax in FL?

Re: Hey Kurt
Pretty sure I paid 7% sales tax on most everything when I was in Florida. But they don't have property/school taxes there and that's a big improvement over PA, right Craven?

Re: Hey Kurt
Maybe in that County you paid 7% but Volusia its 6.5% tax..
Oh hell yeah its night & day with taxes..Pennsylvania should be shot with how they treated us on the border, anytime "school" tax goes from 2200 a year in 2001, to 5600 a year in 2010 an investigation should be conducted.
For my first 8 years in Pa, I always had to either pay additional monies into my escrow acct or let my mortgage payment go up to offset the increase..York County better be careful, or it will wind up like down here, where folks will just up and move out of their homes because of the rise in taxes.
Taxes are great down here 900 to 1500 a year, and homeowners insurance is not what folks make it out to be, hell I was 1000 a year in the log home, its 1200 a year down here..Just the bad thing is, if you file a claim during a named hurricane, your deductable soars from 500 to 3000.

Re: Hey Kurt
It dropped down to $3.99 here
But now I have to find a new place to buy gas so I don't bitch-slap that korean punk that works there (I think his parents or some sort of relative owns the place)
Around here most of the small country stores and the local store-gas station places were taken over by koreans.

Re: Hey Kurt
As far as I know we only have Costco here and since I don't have the card we never go there (my sis-in-law has a card just in case though)
We do have Home Depot's big enough to put every Canadian in one building
