IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (What You've All Been Waiting For)!

For the last seven weeks a crowd of twenty-one people has occupied the Bookie Challenge recreation area. They have done so after having paid a fee to purchase squatters' rights. However, during this time frame the group has at times become unruly and combative. Furthermore, a noticeable odor has been reported as emanating from the protestor area.

In a move to quell social unrest and give authorities a chance to clean things up, Bookie Challenge Cadre Officials have decided that the occupiers will be broken up into smaller, more manageable groups of dissidents. Effective immediately, there will be five groups each occupying its very own space where members are expected to determine their own social levels, clean up after themselves, and otherwise maintain proper social decorum so as to not infringe upon the rights of those in other areas.

The breakup was done by a secret "super committee" and with a great deal of thought given to try to strike a balance across all protesting groups. First of all, in accordance with historic protocol, the following protestors have been placed in separate groups:

Arkman - Ark
BlueShoes - Lacey
CravnRavn - Beldar
Magic - Tesla
Mighty Colts - Fresh

When trying to determine which protestors ended up in which division, we considered applying a few rules like "No two lawyers should occupy the same division", "Senior Citizens should not be concentrated in one group because they will need the younger generation to fund their well-being", "Former Colts fans should not be allowed to inter-mingle with current Colts fans", etc. Ultimately, however, we decided to allot them across the five divisions based on the perceived amount of odor each has given off while making their picks over the last seven weeks -- to balance the degree of "reekness", so to speak, so that all groups collectively give off a pretty much comparable intensity of smell. Having said that, here are the Bookie Challenge divisions for the balance of the season:

* Player is a non-chip participant and, while he may win the division and bragging rights, he cannot achieve any bonus points at the end of the regular season. Therefore his totals are not included in the total points or the group average.

Thanks to the "super committee" for their tireless efforts to make our prognosticating passtime as enjoyable as possible.

That said, you all suck. I should have been in a division where I was leading the points race.
