What was the longest one you ever made back in your kicking days Cravn??
I remember kicking some back in the 70's but it was that old style kick instead of the soccer style kick........and it was at a local park that for some reason had a goal post but it was up hill and no yard markers.

Re: COLTS WIN !!!
Field goal probably around 45 yards..I was goofy, I kicked bothways, on long kicks I went soccer style, but anything inside 30 I was Steve Myra..
Now I did bang a 72 yard punt no wind at all, when it came off my foot it sounded like a cannon..I know for a fact I out kicked Sean Lendetta, but he was established in the USFL and I wasnt so the coaches went with the experience.

Re: COLTS WIN !!!
Yeah I was a better punter too.
That is something you can practice at home and I did thousands of them right up the hill behind me since that is where I lived back in 1971
I had a way to kick punts and have them come back to me so I didn't have to chase them.......did the same thing pretending I was Reggie Jackson back then until I broke a bat I got at a Seattle Pilots game......which would be a nice collector item now since they were real bats back then
They became the Milwaukee Brewers the next season.

Re: COLTS WIN !!!
Me and my buddy used to go to the park that was across the street from our homes, we would kick back and forth to each other, see who could make each fall over from fielding the hand time booms, Every once in a while some guy would come up to the park and punt the ball then sprint to retrieve it, do some stretching, then punt the ball the other way, he would do this for hours on end. He would never ever shank one, Turns out, that guy was David Lee..We lived relatively close to Memorial Stadium back then, within 5 miles and alot of the players would rent houses and apartments in the area.
We never talked to David just exchanged a few "how ya doings"..The give away was the Blue and white wool hat with the white beanie on top.
When Drew was a baby, we used to take him up the park, and he was too young to know better, but I would make him hold the ball with his little finger and he was my instant holder, Id always have to say to him to look at Will, he would and I would bang a few field goals.
