Got a thief in the neighborhood

Some jackass/jackasses have been robbin the neighborhood for the last 3 months..........
They got in the next door neighbors suv 3 weeks ago just before i left to vegas and stole a purse.....2 houses over they`ve taken two gps.
and i have no idea about the houses around,for I never talk to them.(the wife says I`m very unfriendly unless I have been drinking)......

I leave the keys to my Dodge ram in there every night and no one has ever been in it.....The wife`s car a Chrysler 300 has never been broken into either....
But they finally got me last night.In my front yard I have two very nice stained glass ornaments(Cubs/Bears).....Them/That mother fucker took the Cubs one but not the Bears.......not sure why they`d take only one.(ok you can make all the jokes you want too)ha-ha.
I am totally enraged...........Why would you steal a lawn ornament?
But i got news for them...............
I took the other on inside for now............This weekend i am gonna rake all the mulch back,take a pice of 1/4 inch 4x8 sheet and fill it full uf nails......Maybe a couple of them..........
place them around the stained glass and throw the much back over it all......
I`d love to the/those dirty mothers face when those nails drive up thru their tennis shoes......
I taold the wife as soon as hear some yelpin I`ll beat them m-f`ers with a ball bat like they`ve never been beat before........Nobody but nobody ever steals from me and gets away with it!!!


So I ask.........Anyone got any other ideas? or thoughts?..........Yes the wife`s sister is married to the Sterling police dept`s Leuitentant........And they`ve been called for all the other instances but can not catch them/him......
and I will get them.............If its the last thing i do!!!

Get one of those motion triggered "deer cameras" you hang on a tree. Get a picture of the little (or big) peckers. If it flashes, you have to put it where they can't get to it. If it works on night vision, just where they won't see it. Maybe you get a shot of the expression as the nail meets flesh!



(so I guess the 34's Casino profits have to buy another Cubs ornament, eh?)

What Kurt said, Mr Bear you can get one of those motion cameras out of Cabellas..They work great....But I do like your nail idea, unless theres little kids in the neighborhood, you dont want to hurt them,

I don`t have a Cabelas aroundhere,but there is a Gander mountain....
I will be making a stop soon........
I figured the person/persons make their stop every few weeks....
After thinking about this,I figured that if I let him think the coast is clear,I will put out the Bears lawn ornament,(after I get me one of those cameras) and hopefully he will want the other one,and whammo got him...........

I still wonder wtf a kid would want something like this?
