Sorry I spaced the playoff games. A lot of crap going on. I didn't even know we were playing a game today, that's how far gone I am.


SA's picks are valid, and what he did doesn't violate the GoldenMole Rule, which applies to Best Bets only, not the Parlay. You can't take both sides of a single game as two Best Bets.....you can only select one team from any one game.

Your Parlay can be in any combination you want.....it's basically independant from your Best Bets. Therefore, if SA took NYJ as a Best Bet, it's legal for him to take the Colts in his Parlay.

Ok, as for Drew's picks, here's the scoop:

The rule is that a player must post his picks before the opening kickoff for that specific DAY. If a player misses that deadline, then any team that he picked on that specific day is ruled invalid. If other games are played on another day, then those picks are still valid and can be edited at will prior to the opening kickoff for that day.

For example, here are Drew's picks:

Now, two of those Best Bets are from games played on Saturday (Seattle and Colts). The remaining two Best Bets (Ravens and Ravens ) are games played on a different day (Sunday). But since the opening kickoff for Sunday has not yet occured, Drew can modify his remaining Best Bets if he wants.

Drew's Parlay is also valid, BUT HE CANNOT MODIFY HIS PARLAY ANYMORE, since one of the teams in his Parlay (Colts) is a game that has already been played.


So the bottom line is......it's a non-issue. Drew can simply change his two remaining Best Bets however he sees fit (as long as he does it before the opening kickoff of the first game played on Sunday).

And finally, even though I missed Saturday's games , I can still post my picks for Sunday.

I'm actually surprised we haven't seen more of that. I think this is the direction we're headed....there's a LOT of pain coming down the pike....a lot of social and civil upheavel. The government is broke with massive unpayable liabilities/entitlements, and the value of our money is quickly falling....massive inflation is coming. And the government is doing that on purpose to try to inflate away its debts and liabilites.

In other words.....this country is in BAD shape, and we're headed for a brick wall. Be sure to have at least one year of food, water, medicine and other basic supplies. And don't forget plenty of BULLETS for the Eagle

By the way, Giffords and those other folks were shot less than a mile from my apartment, in the Safeway parking lot at Ina & Oracle road.

There are a bunch of strip mall stores in that complex along with Safeway, and the cops closed off the entire lot. One of the banks that I maintain every night is in that complex, and I couldn't get in last night.

I would have rather Blue tell me it was illegal and change my picks as my hedge is blowing up in my face as I watch GB up 21 to 10 ... Had I changed I was going to go with all of my picks except NO ... argggggg
