as I recall I think what G-Mole did was pick both teams in the same game as his best bets and in his parlay.

You're basically sacrificing a point to perhaps win a point. In the playoffs the parlay is one point (not three). So, I see no problem with it and I'm pretty sure it's not the GoldenMole Rule (wait for Mighty's input on that one).

Yea, I'm basically hedging my bets in the event of a disaster. No way I could walk away with no points. We do this in the Super Bowl picks all the time. If the cadre determines this is not permitted during play off weekends then no problem. Kindly let me know and I will change my parlay picks.
