Now no more being able to buy system builders packages of Windows if you build your own systems anymore... You have to pay full retail for it now, even if you build your own box!
So I guess I have to find out how to get my licensing through them to get my litle side gig started building custom PC's for folks..... Gonna build a nice little website and maybe a FB page for it.... Gonna call it "The Open Source" If nothing else it will be a little hobby I can make some spare change on....I am going to be building MythBox's though.. (the opensource DVR's) with 2TB HD's...... Should be fun.

Yeah I got a microsoft email a few days ago about that and was doing the IE 9 beta test on a Windows7
That new IE7 stuff isn't my kind of thing like putting the tabs in the tray.....lame mac type crap so I won't use it and then the codes for website design which would work since most websites are set up for IE
HTML5
CSS3
SVG
ICC Color Profiles
DOM L2 and L3
ECMAScript5
Some nice updates for pc rookies though...I amy set up the wifes quad-core with IE9/
As you know it is pretty easy building a pc and it takes loner to load an OS than it does to put one together.
I always like having the fastest processors and all these quads and double quads out there are pretty cheap and we test them all 24/7 for BOINC projects.
Of course RAM these days is so much better than when we first started isn't it?
You will have no problem doing that custom building and the web design can be fun when it is your own site.
As long as you don't have to fix all the problems later on the pc's after rookies mess em up
Have fun and good luck

Yeah I was going to set up one of my PCs to dual boot Windows 7 Ultimate, but if they are going to make me pay all that $$$$ now I am not going to do it... but I guess I would need to if I started the little business on a slightly larger scale since I would need to be familiar with Windows again.....
Even though I was thinking about building Hackintosh's for the underground lol I could put one together that would blow the best Apple desktop away for 1/4 of the price.... I went to their website to configure a similar Computer.... they way I configured it would have cost $8000 from crapple... I can do it for just a tad over $2500...... God I hate the way Jobs does his shit......
