Great week for the CK household!
1. Butler Bulldogs get another "home" game in the Final 4, where they are 15-0, by the way.

2. North Central Panthers win 4A State Basketball Championship (the Mrs. is the Ath. Dept. Secty. there)

Now, excuse me while I go try and negotiate for some Final Four ducats...

I couldn't have been happier CK..... It was my Dads Bday.... Butler makes it to the Final 4.. Kentucky's cheating asses got beat.... Ahhh it made my damn night!!

As some may be aware, my son graduated from Butler, as did his wife. (He was a pitcher for the baseball team) They have season basketball tickets in Hinkle.

He's been in line for 5 hrs. now (at Hinkle) for his allotment of 2 tickets...

So here we are in Indianapolis and hosting the Final Four. And here we have the hometown favorite Butler Bulldogs in the final / NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game!

Babysat for the grandkids so my son and his wife (both Butler grads) could go to the games. Good kid... he picked me up a ticket to the final on Monday night from a MSU fan when leaving the stadium.

So I'll be there Monday night when the Butler Bulldogs take down the storied Duke Blue Demons for their first NCAA title!

Look for me... I'll be in blue and white... like nearly every other spectator in the place!

I hope the Dogs can pull it off, but man that Duke front-line is going to be a handful for them... 7'1", 6'10" and 6'10".... But the Dogs are tough as nails and don't make mistakes!!


I wish I could go, but not happening this time around I HAVE to go to a First Aid/CPR certification course all this week and can't miss any of it... (for work so it's mandatory) So I won't even get to watch them live... I'll be DVRing it....

Willie Veasley is from Freeport,Il. which is 20 miles straight north from where I live.......
So I`ll be pulling for Butler..........and which ever numbers I have in the pools I`m in.

Congrats Kurt, your boys won that game..If it was any other team in the USofA besides Duke, Butler would have been cutting down the nets.

That was a great game last night. Only way it could have been any better would be to see one of the two last shots by Butler drop.

Now the Bulldogs need to focus on two things...

1. Figure out a way to keep Brad Stevens on campus as head coach. The jerks from Oregon have already contacted him. Before the title game! What kind of bullshit is that? Good lord, at least wait until his season is complete... let him do his job! The current one!

2. Figure out how to keep Gordon Heyward on campus as a player. The press keeps saying he's a sure fire lottery pick... the best pro prospect of the teams in the F4... he's good, but... really?

Ok, the big dance is over... time to get to work again.

Thanks for getting that posted, Magic! That was my view of the game last night. Pretty sweet, given the size of that massive place.

Everything was great about last night except the last two shots that didn't go down for Butler.

I am still heartbroken over that one.

They had their chances to win it.... and where in the hell did Duke find that 7'1" lumberjack? He looks like General Zods retarded sidekick from the Superman Movie!

Still proud of the Bulldogs though!!
