Hey Cravn?
Do you ever get pet pheasants at your place in the winter?
I have this full grown male who likes hangin' out in my forest I planted and he comes over to the apple tree to eat the old apples on the ground.
After all this snow it is hard for him to walk since he sinks to his belly in this snow.
He also likes eating the little berries on some flowering trees and the ones on a burning bush behind the house.
Snowed another foot last night but it is sunny and pretty warm today (around 34)
I went out and shoveled out a place by the apple tree and under the burning bush and put more apples out and a pile of seeds and am using a bench thing to cover the place in case we get more snow but he hasn't been back over to check it out yet.
The mallards stopped by to swim in the part that isn't frozen and then pop up and stand on the ice with snow cover.
And a flock of big white swans and I could see the leader had a collar on him so the State must have had him when he was little.
(I know Cole would be shopping for dinner around here )
Went out and got most of the snow off the north side of the roof of the house except about 4ft left up at the peak since I can't reach that high.
I'm going to make a tool with a long light weight handle and use a piece of cedar shake at the end so this job will be easier in the future.
The shit I buy at the hardware store always breaks seconds after I lose the receipts
I have had a pet wild bob cat here for about a year but I haven't seen him since we got more snow.
I have video of the big pheasant but the snap shots aren't close enough so I will run the video on the bigscreen and snap a picture and post it here later.

Pheasant aplenty on the east side they are hunted here as much as the deer are..
Havent had a bobcat in these parts, but the black bear have been making their way into populated areas..correction, us humans have forced our way into their living space.
