BOOKED FOR OCT 12!!!

I'M OFFICIALLY BOOKED FOR THE TRIP!!! booya

Arrive Saturday in Indy around 12:30. Won't likely get downtown until around 2:00 pm. I'm staying at the Canterbury (tough duty but someone has to do it!). Leave Indy (airport) Monday morning at 9:50.

HOTELS ARE FILLING UP FAST, GENTS!!

Save me a seat, Kurt!! Of course, you will be generously reimbursed.

Cravn: Phlying out of Philly on US Air at 10:30. If you fly out of Baltimore (US Air at 7:30) you may well connect with that flight. I ended up using Philly since the BWI to Indy total travel time is about 5 hours and I'd probably end up getting a hotel room at BWI due to the 7:30 am flight. The flight price difference was only about $40 and going out of Philly I can leave my house at 7:00 to make the 10:30 flight -- no hotel and 3-days of parking in Philly will cost me $25.

Oh, the total cost for parking, air, and 2 nights at the Canterbury is $755! Ouch!! Colts had better dam well win!!

Thanks but I've already set up parking with FastPark for $25. I've used them before and was satisfied. Let me know if you end up on the US Air 10:30 flight.

Im looking at it right now, the return trip is whats sucking, landing at 3pm in Philly, then driving thru Churchmans Marsh in Delaware is the pits,

On Monday morning I leave Indy at 9:50 and get into Philly at 11:37 on US Air 3622.

OK Mrs Magic set up all of our trip plans today.

We leave Seattle 10:40am on october 9th
Arrive in Chicago at 4:35pm
Leave to Indy at 6:05 and arrive at 8:05

We are staying 5 nights at the Canterbury

Then depart from Indy to Chicago at noon on the 14th

Leaving Chicago at 3:30pn and arriving in Seattle at 6:02pm

$1600 ($300 in taxes)

And hopfully home before dark when we will sleep for the next several days

(and probably never go farther than Seattle again )

WTF??????????????? you all staying at the Cantebury, too $$$$$$ for this penny pincher.

Come on Kurt or Shocker, give me a lowdown on Candlewood Suites, it says its 2 miles from the RCA Dome..Is it decent, because its 50% of staying at the cantebury.

Yeah Im a penny pincher, thats why I go on those Island trips..Besides theres 750 Caribbean Islands, Ive been to 7, I have catching up to do.

After reading about all these hotels maybe I should have picked the Conrad Indianapolis.........it looks nice.

I wanted the Omni again but Canturbury will be fine

I dunno, Crav... I'd much rather see you stay on the northside of town and lean on one of to get you where you're going, than stay there. sucks

I'll be out and about today... I'll eyeball it again, but I'm not thinking thats where you want to be. Certainly not walking distance, nor in an area I'd be real comfortable with... you bringing the Mrs.?

Let me see what I can do. I know, I've said it before, but I'll actually make the calls today. What nights do you need again? I used to insure the hotel that was demolished for the stadium. The owners were given two sites across from Lucas... also have strong contacts with the Holiday Inn Select - Union Station... all within spitting distance... one of the owner's widows is my mom's best friend.

I walked by Shula's last time and gave it the birdie.

Cost us SB III by keeping #19 out

But I do like nice restaurants!

I can't drink more than one glass of Kosher wine or a fancy ale these days..........so I would have to just watch you guys take care of that part.

I used to brew the best ales years ago but since I have been on IR my days of drinkin' more than one have been over for the last 8 years.

Hell I have the legal ganja prescription here and that would just make me dizzy too so I just have to stick to my other prescriptions

Ok I have to make my 75 mile round trip to the dentist up by the 7 Cedars Casino (just look at that don't actually go unless it is for dinner)

If everyone's up to it, perhaps we could set up a group dinner for Sunday evening at Shula's or St. Elmo's. Once/if we agree and have a good count of how many perhaps one of the Indy guys could make reservations well in advance?
