Colts Fan Fest Events

I'll give it to the Colts (and Jim Irsay). They do a lot (for FREE) to get the fans into the team. Cravn, do the Ravens do anything like this?

FAN FEST TO FEATURE COLTS PLAYERS, CHEERLEADERS AND FREE CONCERT FEATURING NATIONAL RECORDING ARTIST AND OSCAR NOMINEE JON McLAUGHLIN

In celebration of the 25th Season of Indianapolis Colts Football and the grand opening of Lucas Oil Stadium, the Indianapolis Colts will host their inaugural Fan Fest in Anderson, Indiana, featuring hometown hero and national recording artist, Jon McLaughlin. The first 2008 Fan Fest will be held on Friday, June 6th at 5 p.m. at the Downtown Anderson Town Center . Admission to all Colts Fan Fest events is FREE!

Colts Fan Fest will continue across Indiana and Kentucky through June 20 making six additional stops in cities including Evansville, Ft. Wayne, Indianapolis, LaPorte, Louisville and Terre Haute. Fan Fest elements include a “Colts City” set up with inflatables, meet and greets with Colts players , cheerleaders, Blue the team mascot and a free concert by recording artist and Oscar nominee Jon McLaughlin. Fans may also participate in the “Books for Youth” book drive by donating new or gently used children’s books, register their kids for the Colts Kids Club , register-to-win tickets to a Colts pr e-season game , pick up free Colts giveaways and experience the re-designed Colts I n Motion traveling museum.

ESPN the magazine recently honored the Indianapolis Colts as the number one franchise of the top four pro sports. This ranking is based upon numerous factors including how teams give back to the fans. “What better way to bring Colts fans together than with a festival-like environment and a free concert with, Hoosier native and national recording artist, Jon McLaughlin,” said Tom Zupancic, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Indianapolis Colts.

“We provide hundreds of free events for our fans every year. Colts Fan Fests is our way of giving back to our fans to thank them for their continued support. We want our fans all across the state to be able to touch the Colts franchise in their own backyards,” said Zupancic.

About Jon McLaughlin

Raised in Anderson, Jon McLaughlin grew up the son of a bass player in a home surrounded by music. Attending college at Anderson University School of Music, he hunkered down in a tiny practice room, constantly practicing, writing and singing. Over the past three years, McLaughlin has been quietly building a strong grass-roots following touring with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Sara Bareilles, and Paolo Nutini. McLaughlin also scored a role in the Disney animated/live action comedy Enchanted, starring Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams. In the film, McLaughlin is seen performing the song “So Close” on a ballroom stage. Special notes:

The Colts would like to encourage all fans to arrive early. The line for player and cheerleader autographs may be cut off at any time to ensure the players’ schedule remains on time. Inclement weather or traffic may cause late arrival or early departure. All Fan Fests will take place rain or shine. Team practice schedules and meeting times may cause players to arrive late or depart early. Colts player names will not be announced prior to the arrival in each city. Fans will be allowed one autograph per person, however fans may get back in line for additional autographs. All Colts Fan Fest times are local.

Ravens "fanfest" is Draft Day down at the ATM, lots of activities to do with the players, too crowded for me..Now if you really want a good time, The Ravens did it last week down Ocean City, it was Cruisin Weekend as well as a Ravens gathering.

Id give a left nut for Kurt or Shocker to get me a Manning Autograph..Nothing fancy but an 8x10 would do.

I don't really have a good pipeline for Manning gear Cravn.... A guy I used to work with went to church with Marvin Harrison and his family though.... even though I haven't talked to the guy in a while... (but I did get some very nice harrison memorablia autographed though)

I'll keep an eye open locally though and see if I can find out where he might be doing autographs this summer.......



Now If i had money like CK I would just catch up to Manning at the Country Club and help you out....
