Actually, I was going for the drunk with giddiness angle..

And I gotta say, the Spurs are all class about that game. Not one is blaming the refs...

But are you listening to the talk shows, wow they were lighting the refs up!!

Yeah I'm sure that was how we were both feeling when it was over!!

(btw I will be having a Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter as soon as the Lakers put the sp*rs away tonight)

If Gasol just made one ft it would have been an easy win too.

But those refs did suck from start to finish.......Kobe gets ZERO ft's?

NEW YORK (AP) - The NBA acknowledged Wednesday that a foul should have been called on the final possession of Game 4 in the Western Conference finals, which would have given the San Antonio Spurs a chance to even the series.

Trailing 93-91 on Tuesday night, the Spurs inbounded the ball with 2.1 seconds left to Brent Barry, who was bumped by Los Angeles Lakers guard Derek Fisher on the floor. No foul was called, and Barry missed badly on a 3-pointer before time expired.

Spurs players and coach Gregg Popovich said a foul should not have been called, but the NBA disagreed with them after reviewing the play.

"With the benefit of instant replay, it appears a foul should have been called," NBA spokesman Tim Frank said.

Had that happened, Barry would have gone to the line for two free throws and a chance to tie the game. Instead, the defending champion Spurs trail the series 3-1 and face elimination Thursday in Los Angeles.

Oh yeah,of course I heard all about that =SA=

But as I said before the play before that was even more of a referee screw up!!!

Those blind bats didn't see Fishers shot hit the rim and go down and hit Horry in the leg and go out of bounds!

That means it is Lakers ball with about 5 seconds left in the game!

Reminds me of the same idiot refs several years ago when the Lakers played the Queens in the playoffs and with a couple seconds left in the game Webber hits the ball out of bounds but they still gave the Queens the ball.

Next play at the buzzer a Queen hits a 3 pointer and they win.

It almost happened again in this game.

It makes no sense that now we get the NBA reporting to ESPN and the entire world that they miss that one foul but don't even mention wtf happened right before that play.

The sp*rs should not have even got the ball and THEY know it.

Which is why Popo and the sp*rs are not doing the bitching.......just the goofy fans.

Hell watch the replay over and over and it is still a fact that those 3 dumbass refs missed Fishers shot going out of bounds OFF OF HORRY!

3 blind refs!!!

Hell back in the old times when we just had 2 refs they did a better job.

If I dug up the late great Earl Strom he would still get that call right

Congrads Magic. LA had the better team. Can't decide who to root for in the finals yet. Of course I need to wait and find out who DA Lakers are playing first. I'm an old Lakers fan as you know so you would think I would stay with the blue and gold but not sure if Boston makes it. I like a lot of their players and Doc Rivers rented my house back in 1995 when he was a Spur and I was in Portland for 6 months. He was a nice guy.

Good luck with your lakers however.

Hey, if the Laker's win how many titles will the Laker's and Spurs hold between themselves in the last 10 to 12 years. Seems like those two teams have dominated the league.

And now we have the Finals that NBA fans love to watch and a LAKERS win would be the way it should be instead of those bawstahn punks
