I was trying to clear up some space on my HD...

And well I accidently wiped my WHOLE MUSIC COLLECTION!!!

I did have it all packed up on an external HD, BUT since I've never moved anything BACK to the PC.... Well I don't know how to do it!!! LOL

I went from HUNDREDS of artists to 1 in a matter of fucking minutes!!!

I think I'm going to be sick...

Good thing this isn't the old days then.......I will never forget losing all my dialup Napster tunes on my old PIII 500 while I bs'd on the Lakers board.

Sounds like you are ok if they are on the external HD.

Just shut down and unplug that ext. and reboot and then shut down again and plug the ext HD back in and reboot and it should be recognised on your list on "my computer" file.

Start/my computer/devices with removable storage.

And I know Vista has a "system restore" pretty much like XP if you need to go back in time ever.
