Check the front page story of the Indianapolis Star this morning.

Cool story about a kid genius, really into your astro-quantum-meta-physics-shit.

Read it all. Awesome.

Great kid clap

He needs to move on to MIT or even just Wisconson U since that is where one of our physicists for the astrophysics projects is at.

Bruce Allen
Director of Einstein@Home; Director, MPI for Gravitational Physics, Hannover; Professor of Physics, U. of Wisconsin - Milwaukee

Cal Berkeley would be good if he didn't get one of the hippy professors they have there but that is where our server is for the BOINC physics projects.

I can see why he started off with the Schrödinger equation since it is about a imaginary "cat" being in 2 places at the same time.

It has to do with "tunneling" of atoms from one place to another even right through a solid material.

I imagine he has a computer and I wish I could talk to him since I am the old version of him pretty much lol

I would have him join me with a new project for the Large Hadron Collider called Test4Theory testing theoretical physics computation to help with projects of the future for the LHC the largest particle accelerator on the planet with the most power ever.

I happen to be #1 on the planet right now working on this along with a couple physicists and computer programmers over in Switzerland king

I have been working with the original LHC since 2004 and the Einstein Project since 2005.

I know you have no idea wtf I am talking about....sort of like when that kid talks to most people lol

BUT if you had up to date fast computers I would be talking you in to joining my team lol

I tend to be awake until 4 or 5am so I can talk to them in Switzerland when they are awake.

Since the Test4Theory is new only a fairly small group of people around the world get to do this.

Here is a link to one of the stats lists and of course you know which one is me.

http://boinc01.cern.ch/test4theory/top_users.php?sort_by=total_credit

That kid is a young Nikola Tesla that lives in a time where he can read and understand anything that Einstein,Tesla, and Bohr taught us and many more without having to start there.....so the youngster can be part of one of these projects in the future and NASA!

He is actually a lucky young man.....to me anyway sunny

I thought it was cool that they thought he had problems as a child (well, as a younger child) but it turned out he was just too smart - or capable of things we normal human beings just can't grasp.

He was a student at my daughter-in-law's elementary school (mentioned in article) in Westfield, IN before skipping high school and going straight to the front row in college!

Read the books and tested out of HS algebra, geometry, calculus, and physics after sitting on the front porch and reading for two hours... good lord.

Yes it is pretty easy for him to pass HS since they don't teach things like this.

But he needs to move straight into a place of higher learning than what is in Indiana .........for a youngster like him.

But I bet he could do that with a computer since you can look up anything and then if you understand and have an Eidetic memory (photographic memory) then he would move right past Einstein and everything Stephen Hawking has written.

I had that type of memory until 2002 so I use my computers for my memory.

Right now I am reading a book called "How to Teach Physics to Your Dog" by Chad Orzel (Quantum Mechanics)

And "Physics of the Impossible" by Professor Michio Kaku

http://mkaku.org/home/

List of his books http://mkaku.org/home/?page_id=743

Of course I don't buy them for $50.......if I had mine autographed it would be in person at the lectures

He is coming to Seattle next month and I wish I could go to that.

Jacob Barnett would like doing that and even talking to Michio Kaku about his idea's.

Remember I said Jake should move on to bigger and better places?

Well he is still at UPUI but I see Princeton in the near future.

Tonight I see him in NY with Glenn Beck and he had him and his parents on the program tonight.

Jake has sent a video of his theory to the Institute for Advanced Study near Princeton University.

It is a expanded version of Einstein's theory of relativity.

I would like to be in his class sunny

Here is another youtube videos with Jake doing a bit of theoretical physics.
