AFC South foes must be dancing in the streets.

You know, this may very well be the beginning of the end. Peyton's brother, Cooper, had all sorts of issues with his spine and ended up being unable to continue the football playing he did in high school and early in college. Quite possible that spinal issues run in the Manning genes. Sad. Very sad.

My thought is that if the Colts lose, lose, lose... and have no chance of a playoff appearance, then 18 is done for the season. Should be be ready to return and they have a shot at a few wins and the playoffs, he'll be back.

Sure does suck for him. Team aside, helluva way to end a season, if not a career.
As I've said before, now we'll find out who the real fans are.

If Manning's totally done and the Colts go 0-16 that'll make all four of those MVP's pretty clear. Hell, based on an 0-16 record upcoming they should give him a 5th MVP.

Very sad


But if this is the end, then he gave us the kind of memories that only the fans of a few teams have....one of the best teams in history.
