Rookies be thankful

My rookie year we had a drunken Rican running the show. He'd go on rants 
about this and that, get all liquored up and threaten this and that. 
He went postal and started putting everyone's names, addresses, etc. out there on the web. Then, he did the most dastardly deed of all...
He pretty much shit-canned the season and ColtsKurt's chance at a pot of CHIPS for the Rudy Award... because let there be no mistake... I was the rookie of the year my initial season, due to (among many other things) my mastery of the Best Bet selections... As a matter of fact, I am still the one and only KING of the BEST BETS!
So be good little rookies and pay homage to the Cadre for their level headed, sober, and thankless jobs of minding the web site, tracking and archiving the records and results, collecting and dispensing the CHIPS, deciding who's worthy of joining our little group of degenerates, and riding herd over the most esteemed group of misfits ever assembled in one cyber hot spot!
Thanks to the Cadre... yes, even the honorary one.

I don't know where those are... but not since CK's been in the house!
(I will admit my Parlays pretty much suck... and last year's BBs were pretty lame... BUT I TRY REAL HARD! LOL)

Ok, Ok... just what the hell IS the Rudy Award??? I was thinking it was basically the Rookie of the Year?!?!
I follow the link and find that Crav wins it all in 02, yet shows as the Rudy winner in 05? WTF???

You talk about best bets percentages and all,but yet you fail to realize that after Mighty updates the archives you will see a new no.3 in points tallied and still no.1 in perfectas in which I led the season agaaaaaaiinnnnnnn.
After the 2008 season(sorry Ark and Mighty)there maybe a new all-time scoring king................And he hales from "The Land of Lincoln".
Granted Kurt I`ve been here longer,but what is the rest of the guys excuses thats been here longer than I??lmao
I WILL own me a BC title in the very near future...........perhaps this year??

Well it was great adding you to the contest Kurt........and getting rid of that cheap rum
I only have 2nd place *Chips* way back when the chips amount was much less and for some goofy reason we even gave part of the winnings to the Rican that time
So I think it would be nice of all of you to pick the wrong teams the rest of the way so I can get lucky in become this seasons Champion
I have won my division before and ended up back to back 3rd place in the playoffs the last 2 seasons so it is time for me to win........of course I also want my Colts to win another SB this time too
Next weeks picks don't sound like they will be easy

Kurt keep your fingers crossed. Yes Im planning on coming out to Indy, but it will be hard pressed to get away in the month of December. So pray for a Sept-Nov draw.

No, Ashanti never chipped in that season and she joined the ones who were one and done.

Sorry Kurt -- I was rookie of the year that year. Make no bones about it! No matter what the ultimate decision ended up being, I have no doubt in my mind that I was, far and away, the best rookie that year.
