Re: Road Trip
Cravn..... If you really want to come out to the game I have 4 tickets and I'll make sure the couple that usually buys my other two knows that your coming to Indy and I'm selling them to you.
As long as it's not the opening of the Stadium.

Re: Road Trip
I too could probably get you hooked up, Cravn... or anyone else out there wanting to visit.
Ducats will be a hot item next year w/ the new stadium and all, not to mention the TWO TIME REPEATING WORLD CHAMPION COLTS!

Re: Road Trip
Cravn just let me know so I can let them know. Magic made a trip to see a game with me. I guess I could let a Ravens fan see what its like to visit Indy.

Re: Road Trip
!. Basically across the street to the south
2. Plenty of options from a Holiday Inn Express, to the Conrad, to the Omni (Magic's hang out, as I recall)
3. Yes
Hell, 2shock said he'd take US ALL out to dinner, too! Including a few cocktails, I'm sure!

Damn I'm taking him up on that invitation!!!!!!!!!!!
Cravn I'm thinking you said your a big seafood person also. Indy has the Oceanaire Seafood Room .... http://www.theoceanaire.com/ and McCormick & Schmicks .... http://www.mccormickandschmicks.com/ . I'm sure it's not the same as being on the east coast, but they say they have fresh seafood flown in everyday.
St. Elmo's.......... http://www.stelmos.com/ is also another great place to eat. You really can't come to Indy and not try this place.
The Slippery Noodle is another place you should stop by.
www.slipperynoodle.com
As for Hotels..... The Omni and Crown Plaza are only a block away. Along with the Hyatt, Embassy Suites and Westin (which also has a Shula's restaurant.... http://www.donshula.com/ )which are maybe only 3 blocks away. I prefer the Embassy myself. It's about the only place I'll stay when we travel. Free full breakfast and free drinks from 5 untill 7 everynight!!!!!!! I've never had a problem there during a stay. There are other hotels close by also. I stayed in a Holiday Express New Years Eve that was about 4 or 5 blocks away. Just depends on how much you want to spend.
Cravn there are pleny of things to do downtown. Depends on the time of year. There's a Minor League baseball team (the Indians) that play across from the dome and the NCAA Hall of Champions is also a short distance.
BRING YOUR ASS TO INDY!!!!!!!!

I think there is a holiday inn right down the street from the dome too....
But if I had Cravn money it would be The Columbia Club everytime... LOL
The Conrad is downtown as well....
Good luck to you all... I'm going hunting this weekend and getting the hell out of town for a minute before I pull my hair out.

Re: Road Trip
Hey, can I jump on this bandwagon? Cravn lives about 40 miles from me and we could carpool to Indy. I made the drive for the Colts-Steelers playoff game in January of '06 (I try to forget that game) so I know how to get there, Cravn.
