Re: LOL, Boy did I fuck up
=SA= believe me I was ready to tease you when I saw you were picking the Vikes again.......but after the lost I figured that was bad enough so I decided not to about it!
They remind me of the Colts just before and after they moved to Indy.
You could copy my picks.......I pick winners that can't cover the spread all the time

Picking winners that can't cover the spread is a rare talent Magic. That is very, very hard to do. You are truly talented in a gift that has not only no value but a negative value
So what are the standings anyway? Doesn't really matter as I am saving myself for the play offs this year anyway

SA, what happened to your system? I don't hear you talking about it anymore.
And, pssssst, I am only one point away from you and 3 from the lead after this week. Let's blast the rookies!

I've been too busy the last year to run the numbers so I've been flying solo. As long as you stay one game back there's no problemo
Yea, the rookies will find out it's a long season and I will remember why I hate the play offs soon enough

The Rookies first, then you need to reverse pick what you think will work in the playoffs and you will probably go undefeated....but then again, once you do that, you would have probably been right on your original picks.

Actually the secret to my down fall in the play offs is that I have always looked historically at what has happened in the play offs. I need to stop that shit and just pick who my gut tells me to pick.
And Cravn, there's nothing wrong with my regular season picks. I won a division last year without it and I'm not far from the lead this year.
To bad you can't come to San Antonio for a weekend Cravn. We could watch football, BBQ and hoist a few

Hey CK, have you ever had the Rip Van Winkle's 23 year old? I might head up to Kahn's and see if they have any sitting around...
I hear it's the best bourbon in the world.

Re: LOL, Boy did I fuck up
Ok you guys quit having fun all the damn time!!
I used to drink the old Jack Daniels straight but that was back over 20yrs ago and I haven't had any since.
Makes me dizzy just taking a small drink
I also used to mix my cappuccino's with Tia Maria (used to be all made in Jamaica) and I loved that stuff.........but I haven't had any for the last 6 years (another )
I can handle one tastey beer so I do have a couple each year (on a hot day hitting golf balls)
But I still have 2 Red Stripes in the fridge just waiting for the right day (Thanksgiving sounds good )
The last time I had any fire water was back a few months after I met some of you guys on New Years Eve 1999 and I opened this damn bottle of Everclear that I bought from up in Alaska back in 1980.......thats right I saved it for 20 years just to take a drink when the year 2000 hit us.......well that made me lay down on the bed and was dizzy for a couple hours and I never did that again........still have that bottle and it is still pretty much full........probably will work fine if I pour it in the gas tank of one of the cars!!
But I guess I could handle the BBQ........as long as you aren't cooking Asmadinanutjobs girlfriend "porky pig"
Btw what are you doing up so late Troy?????

Uh oh... a new one I haven't heard of... I'll meet you at Kahn's 2shock!
I always loved the bourbons, but when my son became a sales rep for a local spirits distributor, he introduced me to some of the top shelf brands. It was downhill from there! LOL! Woodford Reserve 4 Grain is the best I've had. A bro-in-law pulled some strings and got me a bottle last year for my big 50. Something like $120-140/ borttle, from what I understand. Very smooth. Sip it straight up, over ONE rock. Don't want to water down the exquisite flavor, you know.
I'll certainly look for your brand, 2shock.
Magic, don't feel bad - the jack and I don't get along well either. I think its the sour mash. I'll get sicker than Cravn the morning after a ratbird game. (sorry, had to!) Stick to the small batch stuff and away from the sour mash...
I've had just the one back surgery, Crav. I feel for you. Blew a disc holding in a sneeze. They told me after surgery the op room erupted in applause because it was the biggest blown disc they had ever seen. (they should have rolled me over... oh never mind)
