Getting Greedy

I know how stupid this is... but I'm going for the gold today!

Better watch out, Kurt......if you keep going for those TPs, you'll find yourself way behind. Personally, I don't think it's worth the extra two points.....you have to pick five freaking games!! You greatly increase your odds if you only pick three games instead of five, eh?

The "True Perfecta" is ideal if you have nothing to lose, such as at the end of the season and you have to make up ground fast. But it's damn near impossible to hit five games. I think in the past 6 years of playing this game, I've only done it twice.

But going for the perfecta wasn't what killed me... I still would have gotten beat up, because the tweety-birds and bear cubs would still have been my two base picks. Chances are, I would have goose-egged!
