Wow just got out of the hospital.
I had a staff infection lying dormant inside of me I guess that decided to "wake-up" this week... and hear I though joint pain was just a fact of life from listening to you old fuckers!!
Hell no!!
I go to the ER the other night because I was feelling overly fatigued and couldn't grip anything with my right hand, (plus pain in the joints of my wrist and fingers on a level of about 8 on a scale of 1 to 10) and had a 101 fever. So they keep me for a few days!!!
Back home safe and sound with a nice big jar of Keflex for the infection and some REALLY nice painkillers called Lodine..
I'm flying as high as Ozzy Osbourne on his 21rst birthday right now.

Re: Wow just got out of the hospital.
See what happens to you construction workers????
(ok I know I had to be rebuilt like the 6 million dollar man)
Good thing you went to the doctor.......that was my main problem.......I figured I was a health freak always working out and eating kosher and ended up hauled off to Seattle in an aid car
That reminds me......I have had my pain pill script for amost 8 years now.......and I did go to Seattle when I was 21yrs old and actually see Black Sabbath!

Glad you are OK 2shock, now get ready for the Breeders Cup at the end of the month.
Remember pain...mind over matter. 14 Fucking years of back pain wrapped around 3 surgeries. The only thing I've learned is Coors Lights and Perc's dont mix.

Re: Wow just got out of the hospital.
Glad to see you doing ok. Never put anything off if you think something is wrong!!!
I had been having problems with the feeling of having to take a piss all the time a few years back and they determined that I had what they call Prostatitis. It's the swelling of the prostate caused by infection. Very unpleasent feeling! Nothing serious just an uncomfortable feeling and can be treated with strong antibiotics. To make a long story short.... I'm only 36 and I had another bout with it this early fall and it just wasn't going away like it usually did. Doc told me to come in and get the old exam . Needless to say he felt a small lump on the top right side of my prostate. I go this Wednsday for another Biopsy. Had one about 6 weeks ago and they took 12 samples and 2 came back abnormal. Hopefully they come back normal this time. I don't care how old you are. If you think something is wrong..... Get to the Dr and have them take a look. Better to be safe than sorry!

Re: Wow just got out of the hospital.
Wow, glad you heeded the call, 2shock...
My sis-in-law just had (still dealing w/it) a fight w/staph...
She went in for an outpatient elective surgery on her middle finger to remove a couple bone spurs. Staph infection set in.. grossest looking finger I've ever seen. She's a hair stylist and can't do a thing for 8 weeks minimum!
Black dead skin, open wound for 3 weeks, skin grafts...
some scarey shit going around out there...

Re: Wow just got out of the hospital.
WOW CK, that really stinks for her!
Mine was actually pretty deep in my hand, so there were no real outward symptoms, but it was attacking the joints of my hand and wrist and I caught quickly enough that they think they've got it
Hope she gets better, because I know the pain is pretty close to being unbearable at first....
But of course they gave me this nice big bottle of painkillers too...
I've actually been calling about everybody I know this morning higher than 3 hippies at Woodstock... LOL

Sorry I didn't read this earlier DS. This kind of shit is much more important than the games we play on Sunday. Good to hear you are OK as there is some serious forms of staff out there that do not respond to anti's.
By the way. If you get tired of your meds you can always send them down to me

Actually the guys at work were the worst... They all wanted to know what script I had and how many milligrams... I took the bottle out of my kunch box and kept it with me since then...
