Tornado
I had the honor of driving by my first tornado the other afternoon, (talk about making your asshole pucker) Whats weird is the National Weather Service says that it wasn't a Tornado, yet the same funnel cloud touches down 5 miles South of me in Md and the National Weather Service confirms that IT WAS a Tornado.

Yeah buddy!!!!!!!!!
We have a Nor'easter that wont move that touched off that Tornado, Thursdays high was 66 degrees with a Ocean Breeze, I really thought about cranking up the fire place one last time..Yesterday was no better got to 68 degrees. Its finally going to move off the coast tomorrow, We'll be up in the 90's by Monday-Tuesday.

Re: Tornado
Funny you mention that Cravn......the wife tried to get me to fire up the pellet stover yesterday ..........I just told her to crank up her heatingpad ..........it's bad enough having to buy pellets 6 months of the year
We are supposed to get some sun finally next week and in the 80's.
By the way gas dropped to $2.99 here so I went and put $65 worth in my 1970 Olds Cutlass and now I will see if I can make it last until next summer
How is the price in Penn?

It's an AWESOME sight isn't it cravn? Mothernature in all her fury.... I saw my first twister when I was about 15, it came through a wooded area behind our house and I just watched it go through.. I couldn't move from where I was, I was entranced by the thing... AND the NWS here wouldn;t say it was a twister either, they still say it was straight-line winds, even though MANY people saw it firsthand..... Then another time my neighbor across the street and I saw a funnel cloud pass right over our houses, and we called to report it and they tried to act like we were stupid and didn't see anything.... No wonder people die from twisters every year....
But it is wild when the conditions are right here, it's usually deathly quiet right before hand, and the sky turns a ghastly greenish, grey that is hard to describe...

Re: Tornado
I dont know about it being awesome there 2shock, honestly I was a little scared, I invisioned my home as a gigantic pile of toothpicks. Keep the Tornadoes out in the midwest, I'll deal with the hurricanes and the 3ft snow storms..At least I get advanced warning with those.
