I just figured all of you travelers were off cruising and flyin' and stuff.

I wish I could do that but who would mow my lawn and guard the place?

I have been thinking about cutting the grass short one of these days and just lock the gate and leave one of the tv's on blasting out FOX News king

I have a D.O.D. friend that might stop by to check things once a week but he lives about 45mins away from here.

Gas price is now $3.33 here so I wonder what driving Route 66 would cost me.........probably end up driving the wifes frickin' Honda Accord bluehoo

BAH!

Speaking of chirp,chirp,chirp........I am being attacked by hummingbirds again........had to refill all 3 feeders today and bought 20lbs of sugar for em yesterday........and time to add another feeder to the bunch.

We had about 75 of em last season and I have a feeling we could get more this time.

Plus all the red finches and goldies.

Btw today was the 25th anniversery of "Officer and a Gentleman" being filmed here in Port Townsend.

Some of us got in it and I was around the film every day during the week out at Fort Warden where most of it was filmed since I worked from there back then for the D.O.E.

I wish I was still 24 years old (but had all the stuff I have now)

3.15 a gallon here in this sweat box known as Fla...

One good thing is its all flat land so the MPG's are up there, my Dads SUV got us 25 MPG Yesterday.

Hey Kurt, we traveled over to the Coast Yesterday, we got a glimse of the blue water, need to go further south to see the full effect. New Symrna Beach, JB's Fish House, if you ever get to Fla, Best Rock Shrimp.

thanks, Crav...

I'm online right now looking at airfare for the Keys dive trip in early June. With the upcoming wedding... I better get it in now!

I need the trip for medicinal purposes... stress relief... think about all that's about to go down... get away... and because after the nuptuals, who knows when I'll be able to!

Hey Kurt,

I dont know how much of a seafood buff you are, but while in the Keys order yourself a pound of Rock Shrimp, I seen a show of The Food Channel weeks ago and went to check them out during my Florida fling, they are out of this world!! Mini-Lobsters if you like the taste of Lobster..I googled Rock Lobster, and it seems they are ony found from Cape Canavaral south to Mexico. June-Oct is their harvest months, hell we only paid 6.00 a pound last week for them..

Give it a try if you are into the seafood!!

Lobsters are at the top of my list of favorite things to spend stupid money on to eat!

Looking more and more like the Keys in early June will be a reality...

Thanks for the heads up. Hope all's well with your pops in Florida.
